Premise - Mohammad was a Good Man

Islam tells the world that Mohammad was the greatest human in all history. Muslims believe he embodied all the best human virtues, including honesty, integrity, kindness, compassion, humility, and patience. In the Islamic confession of faith (1st Pillar of Islam) you need to take the Shahada and testify that “there is no god but Allah and Mohammad is his messenger”.
Muslims consider Mohammad to be the last in a long line of messengers sent by God, including Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, and Jesus. His message is considered the culmination and perfection of all previous divine revelations.
Surah 68:4 - And you are of a great moral character.
Surah 33:40 - Muhammad is not the father of any of your men; but he is the Messenger of God, and the seal of the prophets. God is Cognizant of everything.
You might get the impression that Mohammad is even greater than Jesus, even though the Quran in Surah 19 and Surah 3 talks about the miraculous virgin birth of Jesus and that he is the Word and Messiah.
Surah 19:19 - He said, “I am only the messenger of your Lord, to give you the gift of a pure son.”
Surah 3:3:45 - The Angels said, “O Mary, God gives you good news of a Word from Him. His name is the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, well-esteemed in this world and the next, and one of the nearest.
While we can historically see that Islam originated in Mecca on the Arabian Peninsula around 610 AD, Muslims claim continuation or abrogation from the Jewish and Christian scriptures and that Adam who was their first prophet. However, in the Quran, Muhammad says he was the first Muslim.
Quran 6:163 “He has no partner, and this [creed] I have been commanded [to follow], and I am the first of those who submit [to Allah].
Jesus dealt with those calling him a good moral teacher. See Mark 10:17-30. Who is truly good but God alone. It become clear that Jesus is testing the rich young ruler who is not prepared to follow Jesus and leave his wealthly lifestyle. Jesus does not deny He is good. He is God, as only God can offer eternal life.
Mohammad is just a man so he cannot be truly good. The evidence below shows that he is actually one of the worse possible examples of morality and certainly is the opposite of Jesus in many ways.

1. Mohammad was a False Prophet

Mohammad claimed to have received a revelation from the angel “Gabriel” when he was alone in a cave. He was filled with great fear and thought he had been possessed by a demon. Two biased witnesses are usually given as character witnesses for Mohammad.
Aisha (a wife of Mohammad) - she attests to his "good character" but she would be expected to be loyal was someone who benefited greatly from his death. She was revered as one of the "Mothers of the Believers." A position gave her a level of respect and authority that few women of her time possessed.
Waraqa ibn Nawfal (cousin) - He said that the voice was like that which had spoken to Moses and that indeed Muhammad had been called to be prophet. He was a Christian heretic who believed in the oneness of God, a virgin birth for Jesus, and that Jesus was a human prophet, not divine.
Mohammad claimed he was visited by an “angel” in a cave so there was no direct communication with Allah which previous prophets such as Moses hd done. There are no independent witnesses. This “angel” used physical force and did not reassure Mohammad to not be afraid. Mohammad thought he had been possessed by a “jinn” (demon). Satan can disguise himself as an angel of light. This and the message suggests that Mohammad met with a demon rather than an angel.
2 Corinthians 11:14 ESV
And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.
Islam claims to be an Abrahamaic faith but there is zero evidence that any of the Old Testament prophets, John the Baptist, Jesus or His Disciples believed in Allah or followed any of the pagan practices in Mecca. They all followed Yahweh and Jesus was Yahweh come in human form revealing that God is one essence but three persons as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. This becomes a “Trust me Bro” religion.
The Quran repeatedly says that Mohammed can be found in the Torah and the Gospel that the Christians had at that time of Mohammad. Mohammed claims they are hiding it or lying with their tongues. The Bible nowhere prophesies of Mohammed coming and Musims can’t find it either wthout taking verses wildly out of context. It is Jesus who fulfills many prophecies in the Old Testament and will return to fulfill all prophecies remaining and in the New Testament. (Especially Revelation).
Surah 3:81 - God received the covenant of the prophets, “Inasmuch as I have given you of scripture and wisdom; should a messenger come to you verifying what you have, you shall believe in him, and support him.” He said, “Do you affirm My covenant and take it upon yourselves?” They said, “We affirm it.” He said, “Then bear witness, and I am with you among the witnesses.”
Surah 7:157 - Those who follow the Messenger, the Unlettered Prophet, whom they find mentioned in the Torah and the Gospel in their possession. He directs them to righteousness, and deters them from evil, and allows for them all good things, and prohibits for them wickedness, and unloads the burdens and the shackles that are upon them. Those who believe in him, and respect him, and support him, and follow the light that came down with him—these are the successful.
Surah 48:29 - Muhammad is the Messenger of God. Those with him are stern against the disbelievers, yet compassionate amongst themselves. You see them kneeling, prostrating, seeking blessings from God and approval. Their marks are on their faces from the effects of prostration. Such is their description in the Torah, and their description in the Gospel: like a plant that sprouts, becomes strong, grows thick, and rests on its stem, impressing the farmers. Through them He enrages the disbelievers. God has promised those among them who believe and do good deeds forgiveness and a great reward
Surah 61:6 - And when Jesus son of Mary said, “O Children of Israel, I am God’s Messenger to you, confirming what preceded me of the Torah, and announcing good news of a messenger who will come after me, whose name is Ahmad.” But when he showed them the miracles, they said, “This is obvious sorcery.”
Mohammed may actually be the most obvious false prophet in all history but he is a successful one. He can join a long list along with Jehovah Witnesses and Mormons. The words of Jesus before he left this Earth still ring true for all of them.
Matthew 24:11 ESV
And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray.
It is the aggressive behaviour against those who oppose the narrative or leave Islam that makes more peaceful people afraid to say tht Mohammad is a false prophet.

2. Mohammad Owned Slaves

Many societies throughout history have practised slavery, and Muslim societies were no exception. Muhammad himself engaged in activities such as purchasing, selling, and owning slaves, and that his followers saw him as the perfect example to emulate.
Islam and Mohammad did nothing to stop slavery. Muslims were enslaving black Africans long before any slave ships sailed for the New World.  Muslims were taking and making slaves all over the lands they had conquered. Later, when slave ships were loaded with black slaves, often, a Muslim slave broker had the human cargo all ready to go.  American slavers rarely had to go into inland to capture slaves, they were already waiting there, courtesy of some Muslim ruler, and/or slave broker!  In many cases, if the black slaves were not sent to the New World, they were sent to the Midde East to be enslaved by Arabs, or kept by other black Muslims as slaves.
Here is an example of slavery made lawful in the Quran.
Surah 33:50 - "Prophet, We have made lawful to you the wives to whom you have granted dowries and the slave girls whom God has given you as booty."
There are hundreds of Hadith that deal with slavery. Whole chapters of Hadith are dedicated to dealing with the taxation, treatment, sale, and jurisprudence of slaves. In addition to this, numerous Hadith mention slaves, and their relation to their Muslim masters.
Vol. 7-#137  Narrated Abu al-Khudri:  "We got female captives in the war booty and we used to do coitus interruptus with them.  So we asked Allah's messenger about it and he said, "Do you really do that?" repeating the question thrice, "There is no soul that is destined to exist but will come into existence, till the Day of Resurrection.""
Vol. 3-#765  Narrated Kuraib:  the freed slave of Ibn 'Abbas, that Maimuna bint Al-Harith told him that she manumitted a slave-girl without taking the permission of the Prophet. On the day when it was her turn to be with the Prophet, she said, "Do you know, O Allah's Apostle, that I have manumitted my slave-girl?" He said, "Have you really?" She replied in the affirmative. He said, "You would have got more reward if you had given her (i.e. the slave-girl) to one of your maternal uncles."
The above verses are just a small sample showing that taking slaves was ordained by Allah, and that it was permissible for Muslim males to have sex with their female slaves. It also shows that slaves were a valuable commodity to the Muslims, otherwise, Allah would not have imposed the penalty of freeing a slave to make up for a crime.
The Bible does not support slavery that imprisons people and the story of the Jews in Egypt escaping bondage is far removed from people voluntarily selling themselves into service for a period of time to pay off a debt.
Jesus never owned slaves like Mohammad. The New Testament condemns slave trading in 1 Timothy 1:10 “for fornicators, for abusers of themselves with men, for menstealers, for liars, for false swearers, and if there be any other thing contrary to the sound doctrine;” (menstealers is the same word for slave-traders). In contrast, the Quran allows for and even urges slave-taking.

3. Mohammad Assassinated Enemies

Muhammad "had no aversion to politically expedient assassinations", "was not indisposed to breaking promises when he found it advantageous" and "engaged in retaliation towards those who mocked him. He was often cruel and faithless in dealing with his enemies.
Abu Afak - Muhammad arrived in Medina around 622 AD, a number of local people began to dislike him. He was a Jewish man who was 120 years old.  What was Afak's crime?  He had urged his fellow Medinans to doubt Muhammad. It was cold-blooded murder.
Asma bir Marwan - Her crime was that she spoke out against Muhammad for having another man murdered named Abu Afak. In his displeasure towards her, Muhammad asked his followers to murder her as well.
Massacre of Banu Qurayza - This is in 627 AD. The Jews of Yathrib were mostly expellled by Mohammad but the last tribe was accused of treachery by Mohammad so they surrounded the fort and even though they surrendered he had 600 men killed and the women and children sold as slaves.

4. Mohammad Mistreated Women

The whole religion of Islam is built around men and meeting their every desires whether on earth or in the afterlife. Muslim claims that Islam is beneficial for women is not borne out in many Islamic countries and the Quran
Polygamous marriages - see point 5 below for more detail and Mohammad’s special dispensation.
Women can be beaten if they repeatedly disobey their husbands. See Surah 4:34, 38. Women are not allowed to beat their husbands.
The testimony of two women is required to be the equivalent of one man. See Quran 2:282.
Most women are going to Hell - There are many mentions in Hadiths. E.g. Sahih Muslim 36:6597 - “I looked into the Fire and there I found the majority constituted by women”. This is a means of controlling women through fear.
Women are stupid - The reason for why so many women are going to Hell is found also in a Hadith attributed to Mohammad talking about women. Sahih Bukhari 1:6:301 - “...You curse frequently and are ungrateful to your husbands. I have not seen anyone more deficient in intelligence and religion than you. A cautious sensible man could be led astray by some of you”. It also mentions that the evidence of two women is equal to the witness of just one man. It also mentions that the deficiency in her intelligence is due to her having periods! This is not reasonable or fair. It also doesn’t reflect how intelligent they are in the Western World. Islamic countries often prevent women from learning especially when under Sharia Law.
All Women should be Veiled - See Surah 24:31 and Surah 33:59. The headdress or veil is a sign of humility and modesty for Muslim women. Girls begin to wear the headdress at age ten or at puberty. Preparation for the wearing of the headdress begins at the age of seven.

5. Mohammad had many Polygymous Marriages

Polygamy was a common practice among Arabs and permitted in Judaism. It was not allowed in Christianity who followed the teachings of Jesus.
In Surah 4:3b the Quran allows men to have as many as FOUR wives if they can provide for them but women are not allowed to have FOUR husbands. Muslim women are also forbidden to marry the People of the Book (Jews and Christians). Muslim men can marry whom they want so long as they determine the religion of the children. This is against the teachings of Jesus and NT Church.
Matthew 19:4–6 ESV
He answered, “Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female, and said, ‘Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? So they are no longer two but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate.”
1 Corinthians 7:3–4 ESV
The husband should give to his wife her conjugal rights, and likewise the wife to her husband. For the wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. Likewise the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does.
Ephesians 5:21–25 ESV
submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ. Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit in everything to their husbands. Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her,
Muhammad was unwilling to abide by the revealed limit of four wives that he enforced on other men. Quran 33:50 states that the limit of four wives did not apply to Muhammad from a “revelation” he conviently received from Allah. He had eleven wives and at least two concubines. He broke Surah 4:3. Allah changed his revelation for Mohammad to give him special dispensation. See Surah 33:50. Allah makes special revelations for Mohammad all the time. Muhammad married Zainab, the divorced wife of his adopted son Zaid. He again received a special revelation in Surah 33:3-4 that his marriage was allowed. Was Allah serving Mohammed or were they actually one and the same?

6. Mohammad engaged in Pedophilia

Pedophilia is a psychiatric disorder in which an adult or older adolescent experiences a primary or exclusive sexual attraction to prepubescent children. Girls typically begin the process of puberty at age 10 or 11.
Aisha was six or seven years old when betrothed to Muhammad, with the marriage being consummated when she reached the age of nine or ten years old. It was his favourite and third wife. She is described as still playing with dolls when the marriages was consummated.
Sunan an-Nasa'i 3378In-book reference : Book 26, Hadith 183English translation : Vol. 4, Book 26, Hadith 338 - "The Messenger of Allah married me when I was six, and consummated the marriage with me when I was nine, and I used to play with dolls."
AIsha carried on after the death of Mohammad to work on the Hadiths. She is called “the Mother of Believers” by Sunni Muslims. She came up with veiling of women and started a political career and Aisha led a force of 13,000 soldiers against Ali ibn Abi Talib, who had become the fourth caliph after the death of Uthman. She was on the side of the Sunnis and against the Shia. Shia Muslims therefore do not like her.

7. Mohammad used Religious Syncretism

Muhammad of pandering "to the passions of his followers", arguing that he constructed Islam out of a mixture of beliefs that provided something for everyone. the Hajj represents an expedient compromise between Muhammad's monotheistic principles and Arabian paganism.
Take figures from the Jewish Scriptures, give them an Arabic name and include some vague stories - E.g. Adam, Noah, Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Lot, Moses, Aaron, David, Solomon, Elijah, Elisha and Jonah. These people are claimed to have been practicing Muslims!
Take figures from the Christian Scriptures give them an Arabic name and include some vague stories - E.g. Jesus, Mary, John the Baptist, Zachariah and the Disciples of Jesus (No names given). These people are claimed to have been practicing Muslims!
Taking pre-Islamic Arabian pagan polytheistic beliefs. The Hajj, a pilgrimage to the Kaaba in Mecca, was a central part of pre-Islamic Arabian religion. The holiest shrine is the Kaba located in Mecca where Muslims throughout the world direct their prayers. The Kaba was used by polytheists before Islam took it over. There is a black rock built into the wall in its eastern corner. The pagans worshipped this and other stones. All the rituals carried out at the Kaba at the Hajj were practiced by the polytheists. The Bible has lots of verses condemning the worship of stones - idols and idolatry. E.g. Leviticus 26:1 “Ye shall make you no idols, neither shall ye rear you up a graven image, or a pillar, neither shall ye place any figured stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I am Jehovah your God.” Acts 17:29–30 “Being then the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and device of man. The times of ignorance therefore God overlooked; but now he commandeth men that they should all everywhere repent:”
The Quran is only a tenth of the size of the Bible and is full of repetition. Claiming to follow on from the Jewish and Christian Scriptures allows Islam to have an air of authority it would otherwise would not have. Including the pagan practices made tha adoption by other Arabic tribes easier to achieve. Mohammad went along with the 360 other idols used by the polytheists for a short time before reverting to one god Allah once he had control.

8. Jesus the per than Mohammad

Muslims will seek to emphasis the similarities but the differences far outweigh any similarities.
There is no comparison between Jesus and Muhammad. Muhammad falls so far short that he cannot be held on any level remotely close to Jesus. Muhammad is clearly inferior to Christ.
Death - Jesus died and rose from the dead. Mohammad died and stayed dead. Muhammad beseeched Allah for forgiveness and mercy for his own soul as he lay dying by poison in the arms of his girl-bride Aisha, pleading with God to elevate him to the greatest companions in paradise.
Wars - Jesus never fought a battle and nor did his disciples. Mohammad fought many battles and killed many.  Jesus told Peter to put away his sword, and commanded – and fully modelled – love of all people, even one’s enemies. Jesus and the Bible emphasise love – Muhammad and the Koran do not. The Koran tells Muslims to kill the infidel (eg., Surah 9:5), and Muhammad led the way by example here, killing many and ordering the deaths of many others.
Heard from God - Jesus heard directly from God and went to be tempted and began his ministry with boldness. Mark 1:14-15. Mohammad heard from God (via Gabriel) but he cowered, was uncertain and wanted to commit suicide. He received his revelation in the darkness of a cave. This is NOT in the Quran. It was written centuries later in Hadiths (Islamic Commentaries)
Identity - Jesus claimed to be God as well as a man. See John 8:24, John 8:58 and John 14:6. Mohammad claimed to be a man.
Marriage - Jesus never married. Muhammad had between 13-20 wives and concubines depending on sources.
Miracles - Jesus performed many miracles, including healing people, calming a storm with a command, and raising people from the dead. Mohammad could not do a single miracle.
Prophecy - Jesus fulfilled the biblical prophecy about being the Messiah. Muhammad did not fulfill any biblical prophecy except the ones about false teachers (Matt. 24:24). He is supposed to be in the Torah and the Gospels according to several verses in the Quran but he is not!
Sacrifice - Jesus voluntarily laid his life down for others. Muhammad saved his own life many times and had others killed.
Salvation - Jesus claims in John 14:16, “I am the door, the gate, and the life. I am the only way to God the Father”. Romans 10:9–10 “because if thou shalt confess with thy mouth Jesus as Lord, and shalt believe in thy heart that God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved: for with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Muhammad imparted Islam’s core tenets, known as the Five Pillars, which are the profession of faith, prayer, alms, fasting, and pilgrimage. According to Muhammad, God is capricious, and you can never be sure if your good deeds are sufficient to earn you a place in heaven
Sin - Jesus never sinned (1 Pet. 2:22). Muhammad was a sinner (Quran 40:55; 48:1-2)
Slaves - Jesus owned no slaves. Muhammad owned slaves.
Virgin Birth - Jesus was virgin born. Muhammad was not virgin born.
Women - Jesus spoke well of women. Muhammad said women were 1/2 as smart as men (Hadith 3:826; 2:541), that the majority in hell will be women (Had. 1:28,301; 2:161; 7:124), and that women could be mortgaged. Women could be beaten (Quran 4:34)
A comparison between Jesus Christ and Muhammad shows two different religions with different Gods. While God and Allah are thought to be the same, their commandments are quite different. Jesus came to save the world from the punishment of sin, while Muhammad continues to sow conflict rather than peace. Does Muhammad get his moral practice from Allah? It is clear that Allah is nothing like Yahweh. It is clear that Mohammed is nothing like Jesus in morality or the prophets of the Old Testament. Allah seems to respond to Mohammed’s every whim (e.g. Marriages) so it seems most likely that they are one and the same. Mohammed stands in stark contrast to the teachings of the “Christian Jesus” and in so doing brings darkness instead of light to the world.
