🔹 Opening Illustration:

We have an old saying, “A ship don’t turn on a dime.”

In other words, it takes time and space for a big ship to change directions.

You're fighting:

Momentum

Inertia

Wind

Waves

Communication

Coordination

Delayed reaction

All these things have to be worked out to turn a ship!

We have this great big ship that we are trying to turn… Winds, waves, space, attitudes, ideas, and philosophies have been working to keep us from changing direction!

🔹 Clarification:

Let me clarify. From the very first, I have communicated to you and lived before you that we are more than just a church in Lincoln.

I have taught spiritual authority and submission.

I have led and directed us into a fight that is much bigger than we are as a local church.

Some of you have understood that.

In recent weeks, I have indicated a level of frustration at the progress of where we are…

This past week, God has given me some clear direction and strong confirmations!

🔹 Church Connection:

This church has been tied to the progress of our district! We have led the fight—as the tip of the tip of the spear, turning the ship around.

In the past couple weeks, God has dealt with me so strongly.

Vision: Israel at Jordan, Ark on the shoulders, people trembling in anticipation. Nebraska will cross over at conference.

Every message preached… Chase starts with the Ark, Bro. Woodward ends with it.

I could literally feel the waters parting on Thursday night.

Devils cried out, but didn’t stop us.

Last session—Bro. Dyches: Jericho’s walls falling.

What side of the river is Jericho?

🔹 Divine Confirmation:

This morning, I was out doing my chores, and God speaks to me: “The ship has turned!”

God sent 4 ministry families to this district 15 years ago for one purpose: Repent

What is repentance?

Change directions

Shift the momentum

Change the culture

⚠️ Fulfillment and Warning:

For 15 years, the door of repentance has been opened. — It is now closed!

Now is the time for obedience! It is only in obedience that prophecy is fulfilled!

I preached: Mercy waits on judgment—but I now realize that God’s purpose also waits on judgment!

15 years has been really frustrating for me…

What have I preached for 15 years?

Repent

Purpose is upon us!

I feel like Noah…

First service I preached in Nebraska, I was told: “We don’t believe in the supernatural here…”

But yesterday, a son of the old guard NE leadership stood and said:

“If you will open your eyes, you will start to see the angelic in operation!”

Our time is now!

🔄 Reversal of Resistance:

Here is how this affects us:

The very things that made turning the ship so hard… Now begin to work with and for the ship!

…And it shall come to pass!

REST = a prepared place to prosper and be fulfilled!

I speak to heaviness and say: Leave! I speak to apathy and say: Roust yourself and be gone! I speak to spiritual tradition and say: Submit to truth! I say to the hungry: Come to the table! I say to the prodigal: Come home!

Go find every person that has refused to hear and speak again!

Go find every friend that has refused to see, show them again!
