What is standing out to me from the text:

The Lord was with Joseph(the goodness versus the badness of the nearness of God). There may have been many semitic slaves like Joseph in Egypt, but the difference here is that the LORD was with him. God’s presence became more magnified to Joseph and to others through his pain and sufferings.
Christian success is measured by the nearness of God
Joseph resists his masters wife’s temptation.
Ultimately, we want to see God through all of this. How Joseph responds to falsehoods, pains, and sufferings. We want to see how God treats Joseph and why. We want to ultimately see that this was no just God merely vindicating Joseph’s faithfulness but God who was placing himself through dire, seemingly impossible circumstances by the odds, and getting out for His promises to us to bring a son from the line of Abraham. What could we learn about God from all that? What does God do in our suffering for his redemptive plan? What does Joseph do as multiple times, the story gets 2 steps forward, it’s looking like things are going good, and then 3 or 4 steps back. “I’m doing the right thing, but bad things are happening to me God”.
