C̵ONSUMMA´TION, n. [L. consummatio.] Completion; end; perfection of a work, process or scheme.
The completion or fulfillment of a process or event, often used in eschatological contexts to refer to the final realization of God's plan. So the time after Jesus returns, when His kingdom will be fully and finally established.
In the biblical metanarrative, the “consummation” refers to the completion of God’s redemptive work at the end of time.
