INTRODUCTION
Okay!
It’s so awesome to see every single one of you here at the Abounding Youth Camp 2025!
Can I get a "WE RISE!"...on three?
One, two, three!
(Congregation: WE RISE!)
YES! Yes! That’s the energy!
Okay, well hey!
Before we dive in, let’s pause.
Let’s invite the One who makes all rising possible into this space and be ready to receive from Him.
Let's pray.
OPENING PRAYER
OPENING PRAYER
“Oh, Sovereign Lord, Maker of heaven and earth, the One in whom we live and move and have our being.
We come before You, small and needy, yet invited by Your incredible grace.
God, we ask You to tear open the heavens and come down! Descend upon this place, upon these young hearts. Magnify Yourself, O God!
Let Your glory reign and take rule over our lives. Awaken us from spiritual slumber. Shatter our complacency.
Give us eyes to see wondrous things in Your Word, ears to hear Your still, small voice, and hearts that are utterly captivated by the beauty and worth of your Son, Jesus Christ.
May Your Spirit take the truths proclaimed and drive them deep, that we might not just be hearers, but doers, transformed for Your ultimate glory.
God, move me out of the way and may your Word go forth to your people.
We ask this in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus.
Amen.”
THEME INTRODUCTION
THEME INTRODUCTION
I am so pumped for what God is going to do this weekend,
in this camp,
and in your lives.
You see,
our theme - "We Rise,"
isn't just a cool slogan.
It’s a declaration.
It’s a promise.
It’s a journey we’re on together,
a journey ultimately designed so that God might be marvelously displayed in us.
THEME IMAGERY
THEME IMAGERY
Now, how many of you have ever baked bread?
Now, how many have eaten some amazing, fluffy, warm bread?
(Show picture of a beautifully risen loaf, then one of a flat, dense loaf).
Big difference, right?
One looks like it’s ready to take on the world;
the other looks like it gave up before it even started, a tragic little disc of disappointment.
THEME SPIRITUAL LINK
THEME SPIRITUAL LINK
Today, we’re talking about being "Proofed by the Word."
For you note takers out there, the title is “Proofed by the Word.”
“Proofed by the Word.”
Now what we’ll come to see is how being Proofed by the Word is the secret sauce,
to us truly rising.
See, when you make bread, there's this crucial stage called "proofing."
It’s when the dough,
after being mixed with yeast,
is left to rest and to rise.
It’s not just sitting there doing nothing.
Oh no!
Inside, that yeast
– a tiny, living organism –
it is going to work!
It's feasting on the sugars,
producing gases,
and causing the whole thing to expand,
get airy,
and develop.
It’s an active, internal process.
And that, my friends, is a powerful picture of what God wants to do in us through His Word.
You see,
spiritual growth isn't just passively waiting for something to happen to you;
it’s an active, internal transformation powered by something
– or rather, SomeONE –
who is both infinitely and dynamically alive.
PART 1: The Indispensable Sustenance
PART 1: The Indispensable Sustenance
PART 1: The Indispensable Sustenance – Our Soul's Deepest Craving (Deuteronomy 8:3)
For my note takers out there, we’ve arrived at point #1 -
“Our Soul’s Deepest Craving”...
“Our Soul’s Deepest Craving”.
We’ll circle back around and finish that sentence soon,
but for now...
let's go wayyy back. Like waaayyyy back.....
pause here briefly
Imagine the Israelites.
They’ve just escaped Egypt,
they’re in the desert
– a massive, 40-year camping trip,
but not exactly fun.
God used this time,
this "Wilderness University,"
to teach them some epic lessons in dependence.
And why?
So they would know HIM,
the great "I AM,"
as their all-sufficient God.
One of the biggest lessons came with something called "manna."
They were hungry,
they were complaining,
and they were disobedient to God,
but God,
everybody say, “but God” (but God)
in His staggering mercy, provided this "bread from heaven."
“Manna”
Exodus 16 tells us it appeared every morning.
They had specific instructions:
gather enough for that day.
No hoarding, except on the day before the Sabbath.
If they tried to keep extra overnight, it went bad.
Why?
Well, God was riveting their gaze on Himself,
teaching them to trust Him for their daily bread,
their daily sustenance.
It was always enough,
and still is...
but it required both then and now
a daily obedience and dependence on His faithful provision.
Amen?
This brings us to our first anchor verse, Deuteronomy 8:3.
Moses is reminding them of this time, and he says:
"He humbled you,
causing you to hunger and then feeding you with manna,
which neither you nor your ancestors had known,
to teach you that man does not live on bread alone
but on every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord."
Did you catch the earth-shattering weight of that?
If not, don’t worry...
I’ll read it again.
Deuteronomy 8:3.
"He humbled you,
causing you to hunger and then feeding you with manna,
which neither you nor your ancestors had known,
to teach you that man does not live on bread alone
but on every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord."
God allowed them to feel physical hunger
– you know...that gnawing emptiness –
to awaken them to a far deeper, spiritual reality.
Physical bread,
that’s for the body,
that’s temporary.
But "every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord"
– that, my friends, is the very breath of God sustaining your entire being:
your spirit,
your soul,
your mind,
your purpose,
your deepest, most desired longings.
It is the only food that can truly satisfy the ache within you
for meaning,
for joy,
...for God Himself.
Let’s break down our anchor verse...
Notice it starts with "He humbled you."
Why?
Because pride is a deadly spiritual anesthetic.
It numbs us to our desperate condition.
Humility, on the other hand,
is like waking up starving,
and realizing only one Chef can prepare the meal your soul was made for.
It strips away the illusion of self-sufficiency
and makes us cry out for the only thing that truly satisfies
– more of God,
as He has revealed Himself in His Word.
So, real talk,
and be honest with yourselves:
What kind of "bread" are you trying to live on day-to-day?
Is it the fleeting sugar-rush of social media validation?
Or...
The shallow calories of academic pressure and success?
Or maybe even...
The MSG-headache of relational drama?
That stuff might offer a moment of distraction,
but it will leave your soul gasping for more.
It’s like trying to fill the Grand Canyon with cotton candy.
You need something more substantial, something eternal.
You need that "spiritual manna"
– God's Word –
You need it fresh, every single day. Every single day God’s Word will sustain you.
So back to our question....
What kind of "bread" are you trying to live on day-to-day?
Are you trying to survive on yesterday's spiritual meal, a stale crust of a past encounter?
Or are you passionately pursuing the fresh,
daily provision of God Himself in His Word,
believing that in it,
you find Him?
And here's the ultimate upgrade:
Don’t miss this...
Jesus Christ,
the eternal Word made flesh,
thundered in John 6:35,
"I am the bread of life.
Whoever comes to me will never go hungry,
and whoever believes in me
will never be thirsty."
The manna was a shadow;
Jesus is the substance.
He is the all-satisfying feast that your soul was created to enjoy forever!
Alright my note-taking friends, we’ve arrived at part 2,
The point to jot down is
“The Living, Piercing Activator is the...”
we’ll finish that here shortly...
PART 2: The Living, Piercing Activator – The "Yeast" of God's Word (Hebrews 4:12)
PART 2: The Living, Piercing Activator – The "Yeast" of God's Word (Hebrews 4:12)
So,
God's Word is our essential spiritual food.
Right?
But what is this Word?
Is it an ancient library of moral fables and religious suggestions?
Nah man!!
Perish the thought!
To think so is to tragically underestimate the divine sword we hold in our hands.
Deconstruct Hebrews 4:12
Deconstruct Hebrews 4:12
Hebrews 4:12 puts it this way:
"For the word of God is living and active.
Sharper than any double-edged sword,
it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit,
joints and marrow;
it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart."
"Living (zon) and Active (energes)":
"Living (zon) and Active (energes)":
This isn't a collection of dead letters or interesting stories!
This Book as Hebrews 4:12 puts is,
“Living and Active”
It pulses with the very life of God Himself!
It is "energetic," crackling with divine power, and always at work.
And just like that yeast in the dough,
it’s not dormant;
it’s a potent,
transforming agent.
The Holy Spirit,
the third person of the glorious Trinity,
takes this living Word and wields it with breathtaking effect in the human heart.
"Sharper than any double-edged sword":
"Sharper than any double-edged sword":
One thing I’ve come to love is that
this Word isn't blunt or vague.
It has an edge.
It’s sharp.
It cuts with precision through...
the fog of our self-deception,
our cherished excuses,
and even our culturally-conditioned lies.
God’s Word is definitive.
It’s so definitive,
that the writer of Hebrews goes on to say that the Word of God...
"Penetrates...dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow":
"Penetrates...dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow":
This is profound, invasive surgery.
It reaches into the deepest,
most hidden,
often un-broadcasted corners of our inner being
– our tangled motivations,
our conflicted desires,
the very core of what makes us us.
"Judges (kritikos) the thoughts and attitudes of the heart":
"Judges (kritikos) the thoughts and attitudes of the heart":
It acts as a divine diagnostic,
exposing the true condition of our hearts,
before the white-hot holiness of God.
Now, "sword" and "judges" can sound terrifying,
and in one sense, they should!
We should tremble before a God who sees all.
But understand this:
this divine surgery, this exposure,
is an act of profound love.
It's not primarily condemnatory, but curative.
A surgeon cuts to remove the cancer that is killing you,
to extract the disease that is robbing you of life and joy.
God’s Word,
in its loving sharpness,
cuts away the sin,
the idols,
the wrong thinking,
the disordered affections
that hinder our fullest enjoyment of Him and prevent His glory from shining untarnished through us.
It convicts, yes!
And it must! It must!
But then the Word of God also encourages,
it teaches,
it corrects, and
it points us relentlessly back to Christ,
the great Physician.
PERSONAL STORY
PERSONAL STORY
Personal story about how I wasn't super into the Bible, but kinda reluctantly started reading the book of Romans because of a sermon I once heard.
Slowly, consistently, something started to change.
I began to love God more, love family more, actually desire righteousness, and felt a new clarity.
That’s the "yeast" of the Word, empowered by the Spirit, working!
It’s not a fairy tale;
it’s the reality for millions who have dared to open its pages and say,
"Speak, Lord,
Your servant is listening!"
PART 3: Cultivating the Greenhouse for Glory – The Ideal "Proofing Environment"
PART 3: Cultivating the Greenhouse for Glory – The Ideal "Proofing Environment"
So, we’ve got our non-negotiable ingredient
(God’s Word, which is God Himself revealed)
and our divine activator
(its living nature, like yeast).
But for dough to proof perfectly,
to reach its glorious,
risen potential,
it needs the right environment.
Too cold?
Yeast becomes sluggish, dense bread.
A tragedy.
Too dry or drafty?
It forms a premature crust and can't expand.
Basically let’s call it flat bread.
More tragedy.
Spiritually, it’s the same.
For God’s Word to do its magnificent,
soul-satisfying,
God-glorifying work in us,
we must intentionally,
passionately,
cultivate the right conditions.
Don’t mess with this!
Don't be casual about the conditions necessary
for your soul to flourish in God!
(Maybe show the table from the prep doc here or refer to it visually)
WARMTH – Cultivating God's Blazing Presence:
WARMTH – Cultivating God's Blazing Presence:
Yeast loves warmth.
It awakens it,
gets it working fast.
Our spiritual "warmth" comes from intentionally,
desperately,
stepping into the presence of God.
Prayer:
Prayer:
This isn’t just a grocery list of requests.
It’s communion!
It’s relationship!
It’s drawing near to the furnace of God's love,
aligning our hearts with His sovereign will,
and crying out,
"God, more of You! Show me Your glory!
Satisfy me with Yourself through Your Word today!"
Worship:
Worship:
This is where we declare God's infinite worth!
When we worship,
especially with music that is biblically rich,
we shift our gaze from the tiny kingdom of self to the majestic reign of God.
It creates an atmosphere where our hearts become like well-tilled soil,
ready for the seed of the Word.
Worship is about delighting in God for who He is!
Fellowship:
Fellowship:
Gathering with other blood-bought believers,
wrestling with Scripture together,
spurring one another on to love and good deeds
– that’s shared warmth from the central fire of Christ!
"Yo, when you talk about a Bible verse with a friend who also loves Jesus, doesn't your heart just burn within you sometimes?
That's fellowship fanning the flames!"
REST & TIME – Unhurried Feasting on God's Word:
REST & TIME – Unhurried Feasting on God's Word:
Dough needs time to rise.
You can't microwave spiritual growth.
Same with God's Word.
It demands dedicated,
unhurried time to permeate our hearts and minds.
Speed-reading your Bible for 30 seconds while doom-scrolling TikTok?
You’re starving your soul and insulting the King of Kings!
Dedicated, Intentional Time:
Dedicated, Intentional Time:
Even 10 focused minutes,
where you are truly present with God and His Word,
is infinitely more valuable
than an hour of distracted page-flipping.
Slow Down! Meditate! Savor!:
Slow Down! Meditate! Savor!:
Don't just read words;
listen for the voice of God.
Pause.
Reflect.
Wrestle.
Ask questions.
Let it marinate.
Plead with God to open its treasures to you.
Jeanne Guyon said,
"Those who read fast, reap no more advantage than a bee would by only skimming over the surface of the flower, instead of waiting to penetrate into it, and extract its sweets."
Don't just skim the surface of God's infinite depths!
Plunge in!

Simple and powerful. (S-O-A-P explanation)
Ask:
God, what are You revealing about Your glorious character?
What are You saying about my desperate need for You?
How can I live this out to magnify You?
Simple Questions:
Simple Questions:
What does this tell me about God
(His attributes, His ways, His glory)?
About ME
(my sin, my need, my identity in Christ)?
What does God want me to DO or BE in response,
for His name’s sake?
Listen, consistency over sheer quantity, especially at first.
Don’t let the enemy tell you it’s all or nothing.
Start with 10 minutes daily.
That’s fresh manna.
That’s letting the dough rest and rise,
preparing for a glorious bake!

PROTECTION – Guarding Against "Spiritual Drafts" (Soul-Numbing Distractions):
Drafts are lethal to rising dough.
They cool it down,
dry it out.
Spiritually, we are assaulted by "drafts"
– those insidious influences that pull our attention,
our affections,
our worship away from God.
These are not neutral;
they are joy-stealers,
God-dishonoring idols!

DING! DING! DING!
A ceaseless barrage designed to fracture your focus and cheapen your desires.
Busyness:

I’m guilty of this one and often need to repent.
Packed schedules,
a frantic pace that leaves no margin for the Almighty.
Is your schedule a monument to your priorities,

And remember,
this environment is profoundly internal.

Humility, openness, that "warmth" of a heart inflamed with desire for God – that’s the non-negotiable soil.
Don't trade the ocean of God's delights for the mud puddles of fleeting worldly pleasures.
PART 4: The Astonishing Result – WE RISE for His Renown!
PART 4: The Astonishing Result – WE RISE for His Renown!
So, what happens when we are consistently,
passionately "proofed by the Word"?
When we engage with it in this sacred,
cultivated environment?
The dough rises!
It becomes light,
airy,
flavorful,
ready to fulfill its purpose of nourishing
and bringing joy,
ultimately pointing to the skill of the Baker!
Spiritually, we are transformed!
And this transformation is not ultimately for us, but for HIM!
Our Faith Grows Stronger & More Resilient (Romans 10:17):
Our Faith Grows Stronger & More Resilient (Romans 10:17):
"So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ."
The more you are saturated in the Word, the more your confidence in the God of the Word will explode. You will stand unshakeable when the storms of life howl, not because of your strength, but because of His all-sufficient grace revealed.
We Gain Wisdom & Clear Guidance (Psalm 119:105):
We Gain Wisdom & Clear Guidance (Psalm 119:105):
"Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path." Feeling lost in the moral fog of this world? Confused about which way to turn? The Bible is your divine compass, your God-breathed GPS. It illuminates the next step on the path of righteousness, for His name’s sake.
Our Character is Transformed to be More Like Jesus (2 Corinthians 3:18):
Our Character is Transformed to be More Like Jesus (2 Corinthians 3:18):
"And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate [behold] the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit."
As we fix our gaze on Jesus
– His life,
His teachings,
His character,
His substitutionary death and triumphant resurrection –
as revealed supremely in His Word,
the Holy Spirit works in us,
conforming us,
bit by glorious bit,
into the image of God's dear Son.
Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness –
these are the fruit of the Spirit,
evidence that God is at work,
making us reflectors of His beauty.
We Are Equipped for God's Purpose, to Display His Excellencies:
We Are Equipped for God's Purpose, to Display His Excellencies:
King Josiah:
King Josiah:
Think of King Josiah. Young, thrust into leadership. Around 26, they found the lost Book of the Law. He heard it, was utterly undone, and led a national reformation back to God! The Word ignited a holy fire.
Timothy:
Timothy:
Timothy knew the Scriptures from childhood. Paul said it made him "wise for salvation" and thoroughly equipped him "for every good work." Why? So that God would get the glory through Timothy’s faithful life and ministry. D.L. Moody rightly said, "The Bible will keep you from sin, or sin will keep you from the Bible." And 1 John 2:14 thunders, "I write to you, young men [and women!], because you are strong, and the word of God lives in you, and you have overcome the evil one." This isn't self-generated strength; it's God-given strength, through His indwelling Word!
This "rising" is not ultimately for your self-actualization;
it's for God's magnification!
Well-proofed bread nourishes others and brings glory to the baker.
When you’re proofed by the Word,
you rise into the person God created you to be,
ready to be a conduit of His blessing,
ready to help others rise,
ready to collectively raise the standard,
all so that Christ might be seen as more glorious and supremely valuable!
Connection to "We Rise" Retreat Theme:
Connection to "We Rise" Retreat Theme:
Being "Proofed by the Word" is the non-negotiable, God-ordained means by which we truly "rise" in every area of life that magnifies Christ.
We rise above the sinking sands of negativity and discouragement because the Word anchors us in God's unshakeable truth and hope.
We rise above the seductive lure of temptation because the Word equips us with divine wisdom and supernatural strength to resist.
We rise to meet daunting challenges because the Word thunders the reality of God's sovereign presence and omnipotent power.
We raise the standard in our own lives by joyfully aligning our character and choices with God's glorious Word.
Zech 4:6
WE RISE,
not by our might,
nor by our power,
but by His Spirit,
through His Word,
for His glory!

Call to Action & Prayer: Your "Proofing Plan" for God's Pleasure
Okay, ya’ll.
Just as dough absolutely requires the right ingredients and the correct environment to rise into good bread,
we absolutely need to intentionally, passionately, cultivate an environment drenched in God's Word and His presence if we are to spiritually rise and become the God-magnifying people He created us to be.
This is not a casual suggestion;
it is a vital command for your deepest joy and His highest glory by the One who makes all things Rise!
So, here’s the challenge:
What's YOUR ONE STEP this week to improve your 'proofing environment,'
to position yourself for a greater experience of God?"
Not ten things.
Just one.
But pursue it with holy desperation.
Maybe it's committing to 10 focused minutes each morning with the SOAP method in Psalms, pleading with God to reveal Himself.
Maybe it’s downloading YouVersion and starting a youth reading plan, asking God to make His Word sweeter than honey to your soul.
Maybe it’s putting your phone in another room during that time, declaring war on that idol of distraction. For real.
Maybe it’s identifying one "spiritual draft" – like gossip or a cynical attitude – and making one small, decisive change to protect your delight in God.
Maybe it’s sharing one glorious truth you discover in God's Word with a friend from youth group, fanning their flame as well as your own.
Developing these habits is a journey of grace-fueled effort.
There will be good days and days you falter.
It's about Spirit-empowered progress, not fleshly perfection.
God sees your heart and your desire to know Him more.
He honors even the smallest, most trembling step taken towards Him.
As you make space for Him and His Word,
He promises to meet you there and work powerfully,
for His glory and your everlasting joy.
Let's pray.
And as I pray,
I want you to seriously consider that one step.
What’s it going to be for you?
Commit it to the Lord.
(Lead in Prayer)
"Oh, Sovereign Lord, God of all grace and glory,
thank You for Your Word
– this treasure beyond all price, this revelation of Yourself!
Thank You that it’s not just a book,
but it’s living, active, and powerful to save and to sanctify.
Lord, ignite a holy fire in our hearts,
a desperate hunger and insatiable thirst for Your Word, for You!
Holy Spirit, we are utterly dependent on You.
Come, Helper Divine!
Grant these amazing young people the discipline born of delight,
the desire that overwhelms distraction,
to consistently make space for You,
amidst the relentless noise and soul-crushing busyness of this fallen world.
Give them wisdom to identify their
"drafts," their idols, and divine courage to demolish them.
Lord, we pray with confident expectation,
rooted in Your promises.
As we commit to being "proofed by Your Word," as we allow Scripture to nourish us, shape us, and transform us from the inside out
– we declare that we WILL RISE.
Rise into our God-given identity in Christ.
Rise into our incredible, God-ordained potential.
Rise to fulfill the amazing, God-glorifying purposes You have for each one of us.
And right now, Lord, as we consider that one step, seal it in our hearts by Your Spirit.
Give us clarity and a holy resolve to take it this week, not in our own strength, but in Yours.
We love you, Lord.
We adore You.
We exist for Your glory.
In Jesus' mighty, matchless, and magnificent name,
Amen."
Alright, "We Rise" crew!
For the next minute or two,
I want you to just sit quietly before the Lord.
What’s that one step God is pressing upon your heart?
Get specific.
This isn't about behavior modification;
it's about positioning yourself for more of God.
Maybe even write it down.
If you feel comfortable,
you can even turn to one person next to you and just quietly share what your "one step" is going to be,
praying for each other.
God is with you.
He’s for you.
He delights to reveal Himself to those who seek Him.
Let’s get proofed, and let’s RISE for His glory!
What’s your absolute favorite type of bread or carb-loaded food?
Small Group Discussion Questions: Proofed by the Word
For Small Group Leaders: The goal is to create a safe space for honesty. Start by reminding students that this is a judgment-free zone. The brief context before each question helps frame the discussion, but feel free to just ask the bolded question directly.
For Middle School Groups (Grades 6-8)
(Focus: Concrete experiences, feelings, and practical first steps)
Icebreaker: The sermon started by talking about bread.
What’s your absolute favorite type of bread or carb-loaded food?
On Spiritual Junk Food: The pastor talked about trying to fill ourselves with "spiritual junk food" like social media likes or fitting in, instead of God's Word.
Let’s be real: What’s one thing you turn to for a quick-fix of happiness that often leaves you feeling empty later?
On the "Sharp" Word: The Bible can sometimes feel "sharp," pointing out things in our lives that need to change.
Has there ever been a time when you read something in the Bible that felt like, "Ouch, that's for me"? What did that feel like?
On Spiritual "Drafts": The sermon used the idea of "spiritual drafts"—distractions like your phone or being too busy—that cool down our relationship with God.
What’s the number one distraction for you, and how does it make you feel when you realize it has stolen your time from God?
On Feeling "Flat": It's easy to feel like that "flat bread" sometimes—like we're failing at reading the Bible or that it's just not working.
Have you ever felt that way? What usually causes that "I'm not getting it" feeling for you?
Call to Action: The pastor challenged us to take one step to improve our 'proofing environment' for God.
Based on our talk, what is what is one specific, practical thing you will do this week to either fight a distraction or make time for God's Word?
For High School Groups (Grades 9-12)
(Focus: Deeper motivations, internal wrestling, and strategic action)
Icebreaker: The sermon's central metaphor was bread rising.
What’s your absolute favorite type of bread or carb-loaded food?
On Deeper Hungers: The sermon contrasted the "bread of life" with "cotton candy" distractions. Let's go a level deeper than just the distraction itself.
What is the underlying hunger (for approval, control, security, escape) that you are actually trying to satisfy when you turn to your main distraction instead of God?
On Loving Conviction: Hebrews 4:12 says the Word "judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart." This can feel like a loving surgeon or a harsh judge.
When the Bible exposes a flaw or a wrong motive in you, how do you tell the difference between the Holy Spirit's loving conviction and the enemy's voice of shame?
On Identifying Idols: The sermon called distractions "spiritual drafts." Let's be honest and call them what they often are: idols.
What core idol (of comfort, achievement, acceptance, relationships) does your biggest distraction serve? How has protecting that idol kept you from experiencing the "warmth" of God's presence?
On Rising for His Renown: We are transformed not just for our own self-improvement, but to bring God glory.
How does that idea—that your growth is ultimately for God's reputation—challenge the way you normally think about holiness or reading the Bible?
Call to Action: The pastor’s challenge was to create an intentional "Proofing Plan."
Looking at the idols and "drafts" we've discussed, what is one strategic change you will make to your environment or schedule this week to create protected space for God's Word to work in you?
