Kim KJV 2 Timothy 4:6 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. 7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: 8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

To begin with brothers and sisters, Christian Friends, Well Wishers, Saints of God and to this Bereaved Family, once again death has invaded the ranks of our Christian community.

And to the family I know that your hearts are hurting and at some point your Spirits will heal because earth has no sorrow that heaven can’t heal.

Take your burdens to the Lord, leave them there, and let Him handle it for you. The bible says that “He’ll never leave you nor forsake you.” And we know that the word of God says for the Christian Believer that “Absent from the body means to be present with the Lord.” Kimberly is Present with the Lord. She was tired and she was ready. The week she passed I went to see her in room 3147 at the Lake. I went early in the morning and she woke up and said ah Pastor you here. And I truly thought that this was going to be like the many many many other times that we’d gone to see about her at the hospital, but it wasn’t and the bible says in 2 Timothy 4:6 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. This means that we’ve got to have our business fixed. Because I heard Kim say I’m tired. Sometimes we get signs from God that time that has been won’t be no mo.

And Let me say this to the family heaven is a prepared place for prepared people and Kim was prepared

And I can imagine Kimberly saying to listen to me, my beloved family,

I’ve changed my address to heaven

I’ve crossed the Great Divide where no traveler has ever returned

I know there’s no sorrow or crying because I’ve reached the other side.

I am so happy to be here, for the Lord Himself I see.

I’ve changed my address to Heaven, I bid this world goodbye.

I now live forever with Jesus in my new home in the sky.

I have no burdens or heartaches and from tears I am now free.

I’ve changed my address to Heaven, I’m safe forevermore.

For the Lord built a mansion and my name is on the door.

You can find us walking together, for where He is, I’ll always be. I’ve changed my address to Heaven,

That’s the place you’ll find me. And somebody said “Kim!”

What’s the address” and I imagine her saying It’s at 12 Gates to the City Hallelujah Avenue in New Jerusalem, Heaven 77777.

He said Church! I’ve changed! my address. Marilyn changed him address and church, it was a good change.

Can I say something to you going to heaven is the best change she ever made, because she’s where Jesus is. She’s where the wicked shall cease from troubling and the wearied shall be at rest. She’s in a place where there’s No more pain, no more sickness, no more kidney trouble no more dialysis no more, diabetes, no more strokes, no more cancer, no more heartaches, no more opposition, no more criticism, and no more disappointments. She’s in a place where it’s howdy howdy and never goodbye. ATCSA

The song writer said “When we all get to heaven what a day of rejoicing that will be. When we all see Jesus we will sing and shout the Victory. ATCSA.

Sister Kimberly’s body was giving out and family God never makes a mistake. ‌God’s got a special place for the saints when our earthly house gives out on us. This earthly house was not made to last forever. Your earthly house is changing on you right now.

Tell your neighbor: You can’t stay here forever.

Because the bible says 2 Corinthians 5 :1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

Kim knew that her earthly house wouldn’t last forever so she made preparations. The Old Folks used to say I’m sending up my timber on my brand new home.

Our theme text says in 2 Timothy 4:7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:

Well I see several things here,

1. Paul said I have fought a good fight, That means on this Christian journey it’s going to be rough sometimes and it’s going to get tough sometimes Brothers and sisters in the Christian Lifestyle you’re going to have some trials and some tribulations sometimes and the Good fight of faith comes when you can still act like a Christian ought when all hell is breaking a loose around you.

#2. Paul said I’ve finished my course. Let me put it to you this way You can’t get credit for running the mile unless you go around the track 4 times. There are 4 seasons in life You’re a Baby, Then you’re grown, Then you’re a baby again, and finally you gon on home to be with the Lord. ATCSA. Every last one of us must finish our course.

Tell your neighbor: You got to finish baby that’s life. And nobody gets out of life, you got live it.

#3. Paul said I have kept the faith. This means that you can’t just talk the talk but you got to walk the walk. Being faithful entails a lot of things but it all boils down to this.… Somebody say what is it Rev? I Love the Lord and I keep His commandments. What commandments Pastor? Jesus said if you follow two commandments you’ll be fine.

1. Jesus said Love the Lord your God with all your heart mind and soul.

#2 Jesus said like wise that you’ve got to love your neighbor as yourself and these two commandment hang all the law and the prophets.

I’m going to be out your way in a minute Lastly brothers and sisters in verse 8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

And so brothers and sisters whatever you do in this life, it carries over to the next life. Yeah 3x Because Paul said that there is a crown of righteousness that’s laid up for us. And the thing about that is that Paul had done years and years of ministry. And brothers and sisters Kim had done years and years of ministry in this Shiloh MBC. And the Lord , the Righteous Judge said Kim that’s enough.

And Today thou shalt be with me in paradise. Then lastly the text says that Paul isn’t the only one who can experience eternal life but but but unto all,,, them also that love his appearing. I’ve got close here but tah Once upon a time um um um there was a famous runner um um yes He had won all kinds of prizes and awards yes. And one day he ran across an old that said I’m a famous runner too yes and I wonder would you mind running in a race again me.

Um um um And the young man said I’m sorry pops but it wouldn’t be fair Oh Lordy because I’ve never lost a race in my life. And the Old Man said that’s alright because I’ve never lost a race either Oh Lord. So they went on down to the track yes the man said on your mark get ready set go.

And Both men started running around the track yes. The young man put on a little more speed but at the end of the first lap the old man was still right by his side.. They went around the second and third lap and the old man was still right by his side Oh Lordy . And in the fourth lap on the last strecth of the race the Old man move on out in front and crossed the finished line first Yes He did. The young man said sir who are you and what is your name um um um. The Old man said you know me you just don’t know my name. a lot foolk had ran against me but I beat them all. Methusalleh ran from me for 969 years but I caught up with him .Abraham Isaac and Jacob they all ran but I caught up with them Yes I did .

I caught up with Moses and Joshua, and

I caught up with Ruth and Jesse

I caught up with David and Solomon Yes I did um um um

I caught up with Isaiah Jeremiah Ezekiel Daniel Hosea Joel Amos Obadiah Jonah Micah Naahum , Habbabukk, Zeohiniah Haggai zachariah and Malachi On Calvary I caught up with Jesus one day Yes I did And I heard that right about this time Jesus spoke and said Death behave Oh Death where is thy sting and grave where is they victory because Death you have no authority of this tender soul that I’m bringing up to heaven.

I heard Kim saying Some Glad Morning when this life is over I’ll get my wings and 5th Fly Away, 7th Fly Away 8th Fly Away and be at rest.. Take your rest Kimberly Because it’s Alright now.… Church Ain’t He Alright
