In Every Thing, Give Thanks

1 Thessalonians 5:16–18 NASB95

16 Rejoice always; 17 pray without ceasing; 18 in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

Paul writes to a people that are already in a space of doing what God wants them to do.

They are not warned of any bad, or malignant behaviour, but he writes to encourage them, to just keep doing the things God has called him to do.
