Matthew 11:28–30 “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
Jesus inviting people to come unto him
He is offering rest for all those who are sturggling
Who are fighting within themsevles
When you heard these words on the day you accepted Jesus but think about how things has transpired in your life
How often do you forget about what God has prosimed
you
He Tells each one of us attach to him and learn of him
He let us know he is easy to get along with
1 Peter 1:7–8 “That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:”
Joy is inner contenment and satisfaction in the mist of trials
That Joy is more powerful than any problem
This is one of the things Jesus gave us
Philippians 4:7 “And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
peace- freedom from disturbance; tranquility
This is another that God has given us to overcome
John 20:22 “And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:”
John 14:26 “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”
John 15:26 “But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:”
