Oh Holy and most gracious Father, we come before you in awe of your mercy. You have created us, you have sustained us, you have sent your son as our propitiation to bring us into union with the Triune God. This Pentecost Sunday we specifically praise you for the sending of your Spirit to us. You have given us a helper, to remind us of the words of Christ and indwell in us the presence of the Holy and Living God. We praise you Father, Son, and Holy Spirit for your love towards us and your mercy to choose us, to save us, and to dwell amongst us. We pray that you would never let us forget the glorious and great nature of the Holy Spirit and that we would offer you right and proper worship oh God.

Lord, this morning we thank you for the gift that you have given to us at Exodus Church in the leadership and shepherding of Pastor Kyle and his family. We are truly blessed to be served and lead by the man that you have called to pastor Exodus Church. We thank for his dedication to the church, for the long hours, nights spent away from family, and the hard work that comes with leading a church. We pray that as the Lammott family begins their sabbatical next week that they would be blessed and gifted with rest and enjoyment in you. We pray that this would be a time that strengthens them and prepares them for the next season of minstiry. Bless them on this sabbatical and show them the peace that comes in resting in Christ.
We also lift up the elders, deacons, and pastors of Exodus who will be taking on the load of shepherding and preaching while Pastor Kyle is away. Make this a fruitful time for Exodus Church and give strength and endurance to the men who will take on more of the load of leading Exodus.

And forgive us our debts,
as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
