This is the End Ezekiel 38-39

Jack Hibbs posted that since Iran attacked Israel with weaponized drones. He believes it's the hook of Ezekiel 38 & 39 - however, Its missing some pieces and parts. I don’t want to do an exhaustive look, but lets go to Ezekiel and see what we see. Ezekiel was describing a battle that will involve Israel’s remotest neighbors. They will sense their opportunity to attack when Israel feels secure under the false protection of her covenant with the Antichrist sometime at the beginning of the seven-year period. The nations involved in the attack will include the Soviet Union, Turkey, Iran, Sudan, Ethiopia, and Libya. Ezekiel first pictured the invasion by Gog and his allies (38:1–16), and then described the judgment of Gog and his allies (38:17–39:29). Dyer, C. H. (1985). Ezekiel. In J. F. Walvoord & R. B. Ezekiel 38:1–6 “ Now the word of the Lord came to me, saying, 2 “Son of man, set your face against Gog, of the land of Magog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal, and prophesy against him, 3 and say, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Behold, I am against you, O Gog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal. 4 I will turn you around, put hooks into your jaws, and lead you out, with all your army, horses, and horsemen, all splendidly clothed, a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords. 5 Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya are with them, all of them with shield and helmet; 6 Gomer and all its troops; the house of Togarmah from the far north and all its troops—many people are with you.”

Ok, we know from 7-9 that they are attacking Israel. So the following maps are a spoiler of sorts.

The attack hasnt begun yet, because we don’t see many or in some cases any of the other nations allying with. (though some have stopped relations with israel because of Gaza as stated.)

Ezekiel 38:7–9 “ “Prepare yourself and be ready, you and all your companies that are gathered about you; and be a guard for them. 8 After many days you will be visited. In the latter years you will come into the land of those brought back from the sword and gathered from many people () on the mountains of Israel, which had long been desolate; they were brought out of the nations, and now all of them dwell safely. 9 You will ascend, coming like a storm, covering the land like a cloud, you and all your troops and many peoples with you.””

Though Israel was returned from the exile, there has almost always been an exile. Israel began the process of bringing Jews back from the diaspora, a term meaning Jewish communities living outside of Israel, in the late 19th century. This movement, known as Aliyah, was driven by the Zionist movement, which advocated for the establishment of a Jewish homeland in the Land of Israel. The term Zionist was begun as a restoration of the nation, not destroying or banishing another. Its been Israel for a long minute.

The invasion to the modern eye will look unsurvivable.

Ezekiel 38:10–13 “ ‘Thus says the Lord God: “On that day it shall come to pass that thoughts will arise in your mind, and you will make an evil plan: 11 You will say, ‘I will go up against a land of unwalled villages; I will go to a peaceful people, who dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates’—12 to take plunder and to take booty, to stretch out your hand against the waste places that are again inhabited, and against a people gathered from the nations, who have acquired livestock and goods, who dwell in the midst of the land. 13 Sheba, Dedan, the merchants of Tarshish, and all their young lions will say to you, ‘Have you come to take plunder? Have you gathered your army to take booty, to carry away silver and gold, to take away livestock and goods, to take great plunder?’ ” ’”

Note: for many, even professed Christians, money is their true God. 1 Timothy 6:10 “ For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. And some people, craving money, have wandered from the true faith and pierced themselves with many sorrows.”

Ezekiel 38:14–17 “ “Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say to Gog, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “On that day when My people Israel dwell safely, will you not know it? 15 Then you will come from your place out of the far north, you and many peoples with you, all of them riding on horses, a great company and a mighty army. 16 You will come up against My people Israel like a cloud, to cover the land. It will be in the latter days that I will bring you against My land, so that the nations may know Me, when I am hallowed in you, O Gog, before their eyes.” 17 Thus says the Lord God: “Are you he of whom I have spoken in former days by My servants the prophets of Israel, who prophesied for years in those days that I would bring you against them?”

More descriptors but then….

Ezekiel 38:18–23 “ “And it will come to pass at the same time, when Gog comes against the land of Israel,” says the Lord God, “that My fury will show in My face. 19 For in My jealousy and in the fire of My wrath I have spoken: ‘Surely in that day there shall be a great earthquake in the land of Israel, 20 so that the fish of the sea, the birds of the heavens, the beasts of the field, all creeping things that creep on the earth, and all men who are on the face of the earth shall shake at My presence. The mountains shall be thrown down, the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.’ 21 I will call for a sword against Gog throughout all My mountains,” says the Lord God. “Every man’s sword will be against his brother. 22 And I will bring him to judgment with pestilence and bloodshed; I will rain down on him, on his troops, and on the many peoples who are with him, flooding rain, great hailstones, fire, and brimstone. 23 Thus I will magnify Myself and sanctify Myself, and I will be known in the eyes of many nations. Then they shall know that I am the Lord.” ’”

With what we have here, the fact that it will be so obvious to the world, God and Israel, that God is real, and I believe will also testify of Christ - because who is the Lord? Jesus.

Chapter 39 goes into details about the attack and prophecy. In 1-8 he says hes gonna make them all animal chow, and even punish their nations (homes). The coastlands (6) are to the edges of the world. None will escape. This seems like a last ditch from the Lord to nudge/wink that the fuse has been lit.

in 9-20, the aftermath is Israel will use the leftover weapons and tools for years. Including firewood, etc. This could mean that the devastation of the first 3-1/2 years has knocked us back to the stone age. Someone said, "I DO NOT KNOW WITH WHAT WEAPONS WORLD WAR 3 WILL BE FOUGHT, BUT WORLD WAR 4 WILL BE FOUGHT WITH STICKS AND STONES." (ALBERT EINSTEIN - unproven)

And so on. Bodies, wild animals increase, etc. Crazy times. Then in 40, the final millenial temple gets built. Lots of arguments over all of this, but there is a truth that this is going to come to pass. We don’t know except for what he gives and he isnt doing FAQ or follow ups for the press.

What do we do? Do you believe that an aeon changing event is about to happen? That an actual, literal apocalypse is going to take place? That in one instance 3 million perish. Devastation beyond imagining.

Are we warning? Are we telling the balance of the Goodness before the Judgment begins raining down like Hail from the pit of Abaddon?

I wanna do something tonight. Pair off, and I want us all to pray for the HS to bless us, come upon us, enable us to share His glory. As we pray, remember when faced with danger and threats, the Church prayed, Acts 4:29–31 “ Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, 30 by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus.” 31 And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.”

The OT, Jesus, Paul, John and Peter speak of the end of things. Its not an “if”. But a when. Luke 21:28 “ Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.””
