Working here. I was talking about today, the father of many nations. So when I said this title is the father of many nations. Do we have a name? What character of the Bible that pops up and your mind? Oh, really that easy? I thought it'll be quiet. I have more clothes here, but I actually am so done. A bless you. I'm done at snow. Actually, have more things. I should. They should ask another questions for Abraham leading. Remember that God changed Abraham's name and when God changed Abraham's name, Abraham means the father of many nations is because that got changed. But the only button and I like to talk to about Abraham because it's first he was not the father of our our religion. When you go to the history, we can see the Abraham, he's father-of-three, the religion Islam, Judaism and Christian ISM. We are the Believers. So he is part of our stories part of the Judaism Stories, part of his lamp Story 4, Older side of Abraham's family so I don't know. Any other guy. That is part of three different religion. Everyone has one big father but Abraham his father of three. So he's really is the father of many nations and so I want to talk a little bit about this guy today. It's hard to find a picture of paper and I think he didn't have to have a social media that point so I think he didn't have my Facebook account so I just found something here. So let's talk about this. I want to talk about four points about Abraham's life and how can what can you learn through his example today. In the first point is that he was a father with no children So let's read this. Talk talking about a guy that had his first children when he was 86. Isn't that something that's interesting? Because when you see Sarah answer for that, she was not believing that she was not trusting that God will be powerful and not to do that. But it's hard to find Ava saying the same thing to God because they're probably we can call from Abraham many, many things in the Bible, for example, he was called in the Bible, he's called in the Bible. The father of many nations is called the father of Faith. Just called friends Gods, Grant. Why? Because he was 75 when he received the promise and he stayed 11 years without no children do it with? No children. Trusting that God will fulfill the promise. So, first thing that we can learn from Abraham that even against all the odds, God is still God.

You have to trust him, you have to trust that God is powerful to do that. We have to trust that God is Paul. And then after he had the first children his smile and then he start. The first 50 years of parenting is the most difficult after that will be easy peasy when the first 50 wants this really hard. So we just in the 11th one. So that's so be a long turn. And then he starts a couple challenges, my next points about one of the challenges up Abraham when he has to offer his son as a sacrifice. Remember to story Genesis chapter 22. I trust him first later after that sacrifice. We can see what God made my do for us. He was ready to do that so you put God first. But the second point that I have to point out about this tax, is that in Hebrews 11:19 reveals, that Abraham did this taking his son to be sacrificed because Abraham knew that God could raise him from the dad. Here Hebrews chapter 11 19. Hebrews 11 is the tax about the fathers of Faith have many face. Characters are in a brown is a really, really good at. Lots of lots of birds about Abraham in the Bible said that they were hunting was ready to sacrifice his son because he trusted that God would raise them from a, his son from Dad if you need it. Because I know that you can do that. You think because you gave me the promise, he'll be my son, he is the son of the promise. So if I sacrificed him You're going to raise him again. This was the faith of Abraham. And because of that, he is called the father of faith. We get. Because even though I know that God is powerful to do that if he asked me to sacrifice one of my son, what's the Lord? Let's talk a little bit more. Maybe give me sometime, maybe fifty years or something? Just think of all this. I know.

Point. The father, who cares about future Generations? Look, another account of Abraham's life for a little bit to 75. He was not a 3025 or 18. He was 75 when you started, but he was really old after a hundred and getting on me and years old and he's getting on in years and the Lord had blast him in the. Everything Abraham said that he's serving the Elder of his household will manage. He's concerned about the marriage and actually, this is a big deal. When they have kids, we start thinking, okay, I'm trying to do my best to raise them up, but how will be the future girlfriend? And then, and all that stuff? I just might, we just have this three boys and they have to have some girlfriends on a couple years. Maybe they do have a couple. They have a girlfriend, too. Young to know what I mean at first in his eyes, but that's scaring me a little bit, but that's okay. Abraham was really, really a concern about a next-generation. And one thing that I learned about this, we never know what impact we are causing for the future generation with our our, our example, I know the time so we are from a family. We have many people that go to church and our family. Rita's. Mom is really good believer. My dad and my mom, they for years and years. They never had been at church and then they start going to church when I was 11 because I stopped going to church and they started following me. And now they are released and in the church. But I have many people from our family that they are not believers. And somehow we have the desire to share the gospel with them, but sometimes it's hard to talk to your family, then with strangers. Sometimes it's easier to talk to someone in grocery store and talk about Jesus. And, you know, how is the price of the flower that I do know about Jesus to do that? So how is this fish? Jesus one time. But sometimes easier to share the gospel with people in our grocery store, then we have 3 days of holidays during Christmas with your own family. Why is that? I don't know, I just know this harder. Maybe you don't want to be that, you know.

You know, that I break that family reunions feeling bringing this awkward subject. Jesus. Come on. What's one thing we tried intentionally all the time? when you're giving a present for our nieces or nephews are always try to do something related with the Bible, Over there. Parents are not Believers. I don't care. He's just a gift. So, we give a toy and behind the toilet. We have a book about know where have a book about Jesus Ruiz mobile. Actually they are coming, you some, some relatives are coming. This year. We have to buy some Bibles on to it to give them an English language. We use lots of words of the King James yet here in Canada.

We never know how kind of impact you going to cause in our relatives. When you give a Bible for a kid, we don't know. When the couple beers when your teenager to open the barber. So I have to start going to church, would I have to ask Jesus to live in my heart? Who knows. Actually you as I reached last week was Lexi was Pentecost. Yeah, I think so. Where's the research? I am the research. I am the source. Because I've been working with this kids, I'm not talking about here, but they're kind of a you may be here is the same. Every single time or 90% of the time when a teenager ask me for constantly, it's just talked about their parents. you're not bothering by school mod by teachers would have dared examples, they are seen in their homes.

That shouldn't be like that, not for believers. because that I said, if you were a friend of God,

you'll be a good example for now. Because you're making the king of God priority in your life. You're not lying to them.

You're trying to spend time with them. You're trying to teach them how to follow God sincerely.

And how can we help teenagers like that? They are leaving, that's reality every day. 24 by 7, you're not able to do anything, because sometimes I feel is not even coming to church. How can you change that? So we have to try to make them strong to overcome the difficulties that they're proud of. Their parents are pulling them for that one day. he can continue Fallen God even though they didn't have an example to home,

so, my challenge for us today to be good people, 3 points people around us. Our neighbors are our people that are around the globe. Shoe store buying flour. maybe friend of God, because when your friend of gaunt, God is your priority? When God is your priority, your in the best way possible. Just keep leaving. Keep sharing your, your example, keep spreading the word of God and the rest of holy spirit. Will do it challenges this. Your friend. How can you be friends with God, talking to God, praying, read in the Bible, trying to follow the example, and reading the Bible, but practicing the, the points of the Bible and the rest God, you two got into the rest of it.
