Unity in the Body

When you are thinking about the body it is always a good thing when everything is working together for your day and the goals you have set for that day.

Ever wake up and have plenty to do on the list of things to do. You go to do the first things and your body isn’t cooperating?

Your back is got a hitch, or your legs are cramping up, your head is killing you.

Whatever it may be it would seem your body is working against you or at least one of the parts of your body.

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is

For brethren to dwell together in unity!

As a body of believers and a brotherhood (meaning men and women) we are working towards the same goal. To build up and edify the Entire body.

So that God may be glorified in the body.

We must work together in such a way that we accomplish what it is God has set forth for this particular house.

The New King James Version Chapter 4

3 endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

Just a couple of weeks ago I used this scripture to remind us to be in unity as we were one body.

All of our efforts should be towards keeping unity of the Spirit. IF nothing more just for the peacefulness of it! Oh you know sometimes I could say something to correct someone or something.. But sometimes it is better to just keep the peace by making sure the Unity of the Spirit remains intact.

The New King James Version Chapter 12

4 For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, 5 so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.

It is true we have many members, and each member doesn’t have the same function so sometimes they way we accomplish things are going to look different. But just because God has given someone else the ability and knowledge or talent to accomplish something differently than us doesn’t mean we should start WW3 in the members because we think everyone should look and do everything the way I think it should be done.
