Bible Passage
John 15:4-5, 8
Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
Introduction
Introduction
Church, we are living in a world that is starving for authentic goodness and genuine kindness.
People are searching for something real, something that goes beyond the superficial shows and empty performances that so often characterize our interactions.
They come to our churches seeking the bread of life, but too often, they find only empty baskets.
So I ask you today, what kind of fruit are we bearing?
Are we merely putting on a show, or are we allowing the Holy Spirit to produce a harvest of righteousness in our lives?
GOODNESS—THE DNA OF GOD
GOODNESS—THE DNA OF GOD
I need you to know today that Goodness ain’t a hobby, it’s Heaven’s heritage.
Goodness is the very DNA of God
Every sunrise is God’s résumé of goodness.
Every heartbeat is God’s receipt of goodness.
In this life we need to learn to stop acting like goodness is optional; it’s oxygen for the believer.
If the God is good all the time, why are His children good only some of the time?
KINDNESS—LOVE IN WORK BOOTS
KINDNESS—LOVE IN WORK BOOTS
When we speak about Kindness we must understand that Kindness is love with its sleeves rolled up.
Kindness don’t whisper; kindness welcomes.
Kindness don’t inspect your pedigree; kindness opens the door anyway.
We need to understand that Cold saints create cold pews, and cold pews create cold altars.
And a frozen church can’t preach a warm gospel.
EXPOSING THE WEEKEND SHOW
EXPOSING THE WEEKEND SHOW
When we come into the house of God, Some of us iron our suits but wrinkle our spirits.
We clap on beat, but live off beat.
We quote Scripture like poets and cuss at our neighbors like pirates.
God is tired of weekend actors; He wants weekday disciples.
If your kindness stops in the parking lot, your fruit is plastic, and Heaven isn’t impressed with fake figs.
THE WOUND OF HYPOCRISY
THE WOUND OF HYPOCRISY
I need us to understand today that the world is not confused by Christ; it’s confused by Christians.
They’ve heard us preach that God is good, but they’ve felt us treat them bad.
They’ve watched us advertise love, yet witnessed us cancel people quicker than culture does.
Hypocrisy is revival’s kryptonite; it drains the Spirit’s voltage.
Saints, we must repent for letting our shade eclipse His shine.
CALL TO REVIVAL—FRUIT OVER FLAIR
CALL TO REVIVAL—FRUIT OVER FLAIR
Brothers & Sisters, God is sowing the seeds of revival, but He refuses to plant in plastic pots.
The next move of God will not be measured by seats filled, but by hearts spilling.
Goodness must be like a cool sip of water on a scorching day.
Kindness ought to walk our blocks—smiling, helping, and standing up for what’s right.
This is not a suggestion; it’s a summons.
ALTAR CALL—ABIDE OR ABORT
ALTAR CALL—ABIDE OR ABORT
As i close, You can’t Photoshop fruit; you must produce it.
Stand with me, If you’re tired of empty leaves and thirsty roots.
Stand with me, if you want goodness that glows in the dark.
Stand with me, if you need kindness strong enough to hug an enemy.
The Vine is waiting, the sap is rising, and the harvest is calling each of our names.
