Day 4 Theme: THE BIG VICTORY!

Theme: With God anything is possible

Story:

Nehemiah and the people have been threatened by Sanballet, Tobiah and Geshem. They have tried stopping the work from continuing on the wall by making fun of them and threatening to attack them. Nehemiah has travelled so far, worked so hard and has withstood against such an enemy. But God had a bigger plan for Nehemiah and the people of Jerusalem. Not even a few hecklers could stop God’s plan from continuing and the wall being rebuilt.

After all of the difficult obstacles that Nehemiah and the people of Jerusalem have faced, they still had one goal in mind: finish the wall. There may be fights and journeys along your Christian walk, but if you respond as Nehemiah did in difficult times, you will have victory. Nehemiah prayed to God. It was only God that could help them accomplish anything.

Nehemiah and the people of Jerusalem continued to build the wall no matter what and they finished the wall in only 52 days! After they built the wall, their enemies were disappointed because they knew that the wall was something that was completed because of God.

God can help you through any situation, in any place, with great obstacles and through great difficulty. You must trust God and continue to pray to Him. And no matter what happens, keep doing what God tells us to do in His Word. If we will obey God, He will bless us for it.
