Mercy and Judgment from God

1. A servant has more faith than the King.

Verses 1-10.

Aram was occasionally enemies with Israel. Depending on the king of Israel or the King of Aram, there were occasional raids between them. One of these raids led to the taking of a young girl which led to her becoming a servant.

At this point, whatever peace there was between them was not enough to ask for favors. Naaman is desperate.

750 pounds of silver (300,000 dollars) and 150 pounds of gold (4.4 million dollars worth of gold)

Knowing God is something that each one of us can achieve.

it takes humility in order to be a great follower of God.

2. A servant has more common sense than the commander.

Verses 11-16.

It takes humility in order to be a great receiver of Gods blessings.

3. A servant becomes more selfish than his master.
