Text:
John 14:1–6 “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
2 Corinthians 5:1–2 “For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:”
1 Thessalonians 4:13–14 “But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.”
Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:31-39
Introduction:
1. Our hearts go out to all her Family, Friends, Loved ones. When she left us she did not go alone for she took a piece of each of our hearts with her. We are grateful for the 85 years our Great God as allowed us to be in her life. We all are better people because of her! You can not say that about every body, but we can about her!
2. A few things to ponder together today.
I. The Small Mark: Called life. ____-_____
Psalm 90:9–10 “For all our days are passed away in thy wrath: We spend our years as a tale that is told. The days of our years are threescore years and ten; And if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, Yet is their strength labour and sorrow; For it is soon cut off, and we fly away.”
Psalm 90:12 “So teach us to number our days, That we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.”

II. The Big Appointment: You Have Never had an Appointment So BIG.
Hebrews 9:27 “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:”
A. All have this day: None can avoid it, Delay it, Change it, Reschedule it, Negotiate it, Cancel it. It Will Happen!
B. An appointment at times seems very slow to come But when this comes it will seem incredibly fast.
C. There will be no return from this appointment: Which will determines the next eternal future you have, not to be changed, ever, Wow!
III. The Great Divide: Eternal Divide.
Hebrews 9:27 “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:”
Matthew 13:37–43 “He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels. As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
A. Forever Land: A call to the other side. It is a call of eternity (Never ending, perpetual, on going).
1. Do not take this move lightly. This will be by God: of Goats from sheep, Of Tares from wheat, Of Darkness from light, Of Condemned from redeemed, Of Blessed forever from the Blistered forever.
control, medicines correctly 2. You are Going to have this appointment: take this serious and prepare for this day, because you are not getting out of it. Blood work (Weight taken), etc. you seem to prepare for.
Hiking trip: Body prepared, Back pack, tent, equipment, food, water, clothes, safely, directions, etc.
3. Once, no second chance here.
B. This trip will start: An entrance with no exit, A restful state or an unrestful state, An eternal starting but no ending,
C. How to Prepare: For this journey, we all shall take!!!
1. Know Something about God:
Psalm 47:8 “God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness.” Holiness is a main Attribute of Him.
2.Know Something about yourself: You are sinful.
Psalm 143:2 “And enter not into judgment with thy servant: For in thy sight shall no man living be justified.”
Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”
3. Know Something about Christ: Your Only Hope.
Acts 4:12 “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”
Acts 2:21 “And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
I get in a plain and trust a pilot I do noy know, may not even see. To take me 8 hours in a plain that must lift off the ground into the air. Which must reach speeds of almost 200 miles an hour just to take off, fly at around 35,000 feet in the air flying at around 500 miles an hour, that weighs 381,000 lbs. But not sure if I can trust Christ, ummm.
Closing: There are portions of the word of God with enough information to help you know for sure you have genuine Salvation!
