WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO RECKON SOMETHING
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO RECKON SOMETHING
Reckoning is the act of counting, computing, or calculating something.
The hour of making calculations, discerning & making judgements are here.
But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one. For “who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?” But we have the mind of Christ.
Discernment can only occur with the help of the Holy Spirit.
And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever—the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.
Christians if truly born again have not received the spirit of the world but the spirit of Truth
Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.
The spirit of the world:
The spirit of the world:

the system of practices and standards associated with secular society (that is, without reference to any demands or requirements of God)
If you are in Christ you have been crucified to this world with all its beliefs
But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
If we are dead to the world that means we have no part in the actions of the world and its attempts to bring change to it.
God’s people are about changing the hearts & minds by preaching repentance & faith toward God through Jesus Christ.
For we are waiting for another Kingdom as we wait for that other Kingdom we occupy as Jesus comes
So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, ‘Do business till I come.’ But his citizens hated him, and sent a delegation after him, saying, ‘We will not have this man to reign over us.’
What were seeing in the world & the events taking place is because the nations and its people are saying we will not have this man rule over us.(Jesus is that man)
WHY DO the nations assemble with commotion [uproar and confusion of voices], and why do the people imagine (meditate upon and devise) an empty scheme? The kings of the earth take their places; the rulers take counsel together against the Lord and His Anointed One (the Messiah, the Christ). They say, Let us break Their bands [of restraint] asunder and cast Their cords [of control] from us. He Who sits in the heavens laughs; the Lord has them in derision [and in supreme contempt He mocks them]. He speaks to them in His deep anger and troubles (terrifies and confounds) them in His displeasure and fury, saying, Yet have I anointed (installed and placed) My King [firmly] on My holy hill of Zion.
There is a deeply prophetic undertone to the rising sentiment behind this so-called “No King’s Day.” Many believe it’s merely a political protest, a rejection of one man—Donald Trump. But in reality, something far more profound is unfolding.
This is not just about a man. This is about a spiritual revolt against righteousness, divine order, and ultimately the Lord Jesus Christ Himself.
What we are witnessing echoes the ancient words of Psalm 2, where the nations cry out:
“Let us break Their bands [of restraint] asunder and cast Their cords [of control] from us.”
— Psalm 2:3, AMP
This rebellion is not new. It is the same cry heard throughout history—a rejection of God's authority and His moral standards. The true root of this unrest is not political, but spiritual. It is the antichrist spirit, growing stronger in these last days, as people clamor for freedom not from oppression, but from holiness, truth, and submission to God's rightful rule.
Donald Trump has become a scapegoat, but the real target is the King of Kings. The cry of “No King!” is not just against a man—it is a rejection of Christ’s Lordship.
Let us be discerning. Let us be prayerful. And above all, let us stand firm in righteousness, for our King is not elected by man—He reigns by divine right, and His Kingdom shall not be shaken.
✝️ Jesus is Lord & King, now and forever.
We are living in the days of rebellion(The Apostasy the falling away)
not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition,

the rebellion comes first In this context, the Greek word used here, apostasia, likely refers to an intentional and hostile rejection of Christ by unbelievers. It is also possible that the term refers to spiritual apostasy by believers (suggesting the “delusion” of
