VBS - Day 2

The Big Truth - God keeps the whole universe going, and yet He still cares about whats happening to me.

Zoom In - I can trust God to take care of me.

Today’s Point - God cares about me.

Today we are going to look at one of my favorite passages of scripture.

This is one of my favorite passages because I feel like I have been there.

I dont want to talk to much, but listen to Mark 4:1 with me.

Mark 4:1 CSB

1 Again he began to teach by the sea, and a very large crowd gathered around him. So he got into a boat on the sea and sat down, while the whole crowd was by the sea on the shore.

Everywhere that Jesus went, He taught people what was right.

He taught people the Word of God. (Never failed)

But why did Jesus teach people the Word of God?

Because He loves them and they mattered to Him.

Remember what we learned yesterday?

We are important to God. We matter!

God knows all about us. He created everything and He still wants to spend time with us!

And guess what? Because we are important to God, we know that we matter!

Because we matter, we can trust God to take care of us.

In the story today, you are going to see that Jesus His disciples to do something, and He sent them on their way to do it.

But things did not go as the disciples had planned.

However, God still cared about what was happening around them and He wanted to take care of them, so He did!

Just like He took care of the disciples, We can trust that He is going to take care of us! (ME) because God cares about you. (ME)
