Theme: Live wisely, joyfully, and with reverence before God while you still have the gift of life.
Take Bold Steps of Faith (Ecclesiastes 11:1–6)
Cast your bread upon the waters.
Trust God even when results are uncertain.
Don’t wait for perfect conditions.
Enjoy Life as a Gift from God (Ecclesiastes 11:7–10)
Rejoice in the light while you have it.
Especially to the young: rejoice, but remember.
Remove sorrow and sin—life is fleeting.
Remember Your Creator in the Days of Your Youth (Ecclesiastes 12:1–8)
Don’t delay spiritual commitment.
A poetic and sobering picture of aging and death.
Life is short; remember God now.
Live with Reverence and Obedience (Ecclesiastes 12:9–14)
The conclusion: fear God and keep His commandments.
God will bring every deed into judgment.
That’s the whole duty of man.
