Devotion 3: Wonder-Working Power
Intro: I am Mustache Max, and I ride with the Black Licorice Posse. Wonder Junction isn’t big enough for Jumpin Jim and me. So I ran him out of town.
I heard from the towns people that you had never heard the marvelous tale of Jesus Christ. The greatest hero who ever lived.

Tiny: Why does her name have to do with Jesus’ birth? Why does Jesus’ birth matter?
Memory Verse: John 1:14 “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.”
Jesus at the Temple
Jesus grew in wisdom, in stature, and in favor
Jesus had a birthday, siblings, oldest child in his family.
He lived in Nazareth with his family, and helped his father as a carpenter.
What is your favorite food? Jesus ate, and enjoyed good food.
Jesus used the restroom like you and me, because he was truly human.
Jesus slept.
Jesus listened and obeyed his parents.
Jesus visited the temple and the men, who worked at the temple and studied the Bible, marveled at Jesus’s wisdom and knowledge of God.
Wolf Pup (Junior): Jesus’ father taught Jesus many things. Why does it matter that Jesus was a child?
Verse: Luke 2:52 “And Jesus increased in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and man.”
