3. The Fruit of Trusting God

4. Worship Response – “He Will Never Fail”

5. Trusting God in Your Story

1. 🧱 THE FOUNDATION OF TRUST

📜 Scripture:

Jeremiah 17:7-8

“Blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water…”

• Trust is not just believing in God, but believing God — His promises, His heart, His plan.

• It begins with a relationship, not just religion.

• Trust is rooted in God’s character — holy, faithful, unchanging.

🔑 Point:

You can’t trust someone you don’t know. The more you know God, the easier it becomes to trust Him.

2. 🔥 WHEN TRUST IS TESTED

📜 Scripture:

Isaiah 43:2

“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you… when you walk through the fire, you will not be burned…”

• Everyone’s faith will face fire: loss, uncertainty, silence from Heaven.

• Even Jesus in Gethsemane said, “Not my will, but Yours be done.” (Luke 22:42)

💬 Honest Question:

What do you do when God doesn’t answer the way you hoped?

🎶 Worship Moment:

“I trust in God, my Savior—the One who will never fail. He will never fail.”

Declare it even when your emotions don’t feel it. Your worship leads your heart.

🧠 Application:

• Trust is not ignoring pain—it’s choosing God anyway.

• Like Job: “Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him.” (Job 13:15)

3. 🌳 THE FRUIT OF TRUSTING GOD

📜 Scripture:

Romans 15:13

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him…”

When we trust God:

• Peace replaces panic.

• Hope replaces despair.

• Joy springs up—even in sorrow.

🔍 Example:

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego (Daniel 3)

“Even if He does not deliver us… we will not bow.”

• That’s trust—not in the outcome, but in the faithfulness of God.

🔥 TRUST PRODUCES:

• Stability in storms

• Strength to endure

• Songs in the night (Acts 16:25 – Paul & Silas)

4. 🙌 WORSHIP RESPONSE

🗣️ Invite the worship team (or congregation) to softly sing:

“I trust in God, my Savior, the One who will never fail. He will never fail.”

🧎‍♂️ Lead a time of reflection:

• What are you facing right now that requires fresh trust?

• Where have you been relying on your own understanding?

📖 Encourage journaling or prayer during the chorus:

“He will never fail.” – That’s not wishful thinking. That’s truth rooted in God’s track record.

5. 🛤️ TRUSTING GOD IN YOUR STORY

📜 Scripture:

Romans 8:28

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him…”

• God is not just with you in the moment—He’s already gone ahead of you.

• He’s not just a responder to our chaos—He’s the author of redemption.

💥 Final Charge:

• Trust God when it makes sense.

• Trust Him when it doesn’t.

• Trust Him when the doors open.

• Trust Him when the doors stay closed.

Because—He will never fail.

🙏 ALTAR CALL / CLOSING PRAYER:

“Lord, today we declare that our hope is in You. Not in outcomes, not in timing, not in feelings—but in You. Teach us to trust when the way is unclear. Strengthen our faith when we are weak. Remind us that You never fail. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

📘 BONUS SCRIPTURE TO MEMORIZE:

Psalm 37:5

“Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him, and He will act.”

📝 Key Lyric to Meditate On:

“I trust in God, my Savior, the One who will never fail. He will never fail.”
