God Meets you Where you Are

Judges 6:13

Many people have asked questions like Gideon asked the Angel of the Lord in Judges 6:13 “And Gideon said to him, “Please, my lord, if the Lord is with us, why then has all this happened to us? And where are all his wonderful deeds that our fathers recounted to us, saying, ‘Did not the Lord bring us up from Egypt?’ But now the Lord has forsaken us and given us into the hand of Midian.””

”God, where are you?”

“God, why is this happening to me, why can’t I catch a break?

“God, why am I not finding victory over this trial, this temptation, or this battle I am facing?”

“God, if you are really the God of the Bible, why does it feel like you aren’t there?”
