Colossians 3:22–25 “Bondservants, obey in everything those who are your earthly masters, not by way of eye-service, as people-pleasers, but with sincerity of heart, fearing the Lord. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ. For the wrongdoer will be paid back for the wrong he has done, and there is no partiality.”

1 Peter 2:18 “Servants, be subject to your masters with all respect, not only to the good and gentle but also to the unjust.” (Not Abusive)

Dilligence his persistent hard working effort. Joyful work honors God?

No one cares what you say they care what you do.

Genesis 3:17 “And to Adam he said, “Because you have listened to the voice of your wife and have eaten of the tree of which I commanded you, ‘You shall not eat of it,’ cursed is the ground because of you; in pain you shall eat of it all the days of your life;”

Secular job vs ministry. Everyone is ministry.

Proverbs 10:4 “A slack hand causes poverty, but the hand of the diligent makes rich.”

God worked 6 days and rested on the 7th. He got a lot done

Home chores is also work.

Proverbs 11:1 “A false balance is an abomination to the Lord, but a just weight is his delight.”

Dirty hands, clean money

If you continue to practice biblical values in your daily work habits, expect nothing more than what the lord may have for you, you should anticipate God’s favor for your uprightness.

Good is the enemy of great. (Complacency)

Where are you good but you could be great? (Building relationships)

Being the hardest working man in the room not only impress your boss or superior, but it shows top down leadership and it pleases the father.

We are called to be hard working. Don’t work hard at work and be lazy at home. work at home and at work.

We must be diligent all the time, it will look different at different times in the week.
