Sermon Text:
Ephesians 6:10–16 KJV 1900
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
There is a popular song that will get people excited and some will begin to start dancing. Not only that if they have them fans with them, you will hear them pop. Not only that, I see ladies now will have them fans everywhere they go, just in case there will come an opportunity to pop them out.  They don't know, but just in case. Where did the phrase, "Boots on the Ground" come from? Boots on the ground isn’t just about shoes hitting the pavement. In everyday conversation, this phrase paints a picture of presence and action. It’s commonly used to describe sending soldiers into combat areas, but its usage stretches far beyond military contexts. The real power of this idiom lies in its ability to convey commitment and direct involvement in any situation. Whether it’s business leaders talking strategy or community efforts in neighborhood improvement, boots on the ground signifies more than just being there—it’s about making a tangible impact. Now what does Tangible mean?  - something that can be touched or felt, having a physical presence and real substance. Demonstrating Christ's love is not possible in our own strength. Rather, tangible love is Christ loving through us. In Luke 19:10, say - for the Son of man is come to see and to save that which was lost. How was He going to accomplish this great assignment? In the term we use today, He begins to build His team of disciples (which mean followers of Christ).  In Mark 3:13, Jesus calls His 12 disciples. For 3 1/2 years He was preparing these mens to have boots on the ground. He was teaching these men to be committed and to have direct involvement in His ministry. His directives have not changed.  Every believer in Christ Jesus has been called to have boots on the grown. Deal with the text: Ephesians 6:10-16 - Ref text -  Isaiah 59.14 - For he put on righteousness as a breastplate, and an helmet of salvation upon his head; and he put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloke.
Tell the Salvation story of Jesus Christ our LORD.
