God is Unique

Genesis 1:1 NKJV
1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
Deuteronomy 4:34 NKJV
34 Or did God ever try to go and take for Himself a nation from the midst of another nation, by trials, by signs, by wonders, by war, by a mighty hand and an outstretched arm, and by great terrors, according to all that the Lord your God did for you in Egypt before your eyes?
Deuteronomy 4:39 NKJV
39 Therefore know this day, and consider it in your heart, that the Lord Himself is God in heaven above and on the earth beneath; there is no other.
Isaiah 45:5 NKJV
5 I am the Lord, and there is no other; There is no God besides Me. I will gird you, though you have not known Me,
Isaiah 46:9 NKJV
9 Remember the former things of old, For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like Me,
Isaiah 43:10–11 NKJV
10 “You are My witnesses,” says the Lord, “And My servant whom I have chosen, That you may know and believe Me, And understand that I am He. Before Me there was no God formed, Nor shall there be after Me. 11 I, even I, am the Lord, And besides Me there is no savior.
1 Corinthians 8:4 NKJV
4 Therefore concerning the eating of things offered to idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is no other God but one.

God is Eternal

Psalm 90:2 NKJV
2 Before the mountains were brought forth, Or ever You had formed the earth and the world, Even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God.
Exodus 3:14 NKJV

Romans 16:26 NKJV
26 but now made manifest, and by the prophetic Scriptures made known to all nations, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, for obedience to the faith—
1 Timothy 1:17 NKJV
17 Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.
1 Timothy 6:16 NKJV
16 who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see, to whom be honor and everlasting power. Amen.
Isaiah 57:15 NKJV
15 For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: “I dwell in the high and holy place, With him who has a contrite and humble spirit, To revive the spirit of the humble, And to revive the heart of the contrite ones.
This passage affirms the TRANSCENDENCE and IMMANENCE of God.
The transcendence of God means that God exists beyond and independent of the time/space continuum; He dwells in perfection beyond this world, and is independent of it.
God immanence refers to his ability to act in and be anywhere in this world He chooses.
God is present the created order to act in history according to his will.

A Name of God:

Genesis 21:33 NKJV
33 Then Abraham planted a tamarisk tree in Beersheba, and there called on the name of the Lord, the Everlasting God.
Genesis 14:18 NKJV
18 Then Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine; he was the priest of God Most High.

God Does Not Change:

James 1:17 NKJV
17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.
Numbers 23:19 NKJV
19 “God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?
Malachi 3:6 NKJV
6 “For I am the Lord, I do not change; Therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob.
Psalm 33:11 NKJV
11 The counsel of the Lord stands forever, The plans of His heart to all generations.
1 Samuel 15:29 NRSV
29 Moreover the Glory of Israel will not recant or change his mind; for he is not a mortal, that he should change his mind.”

God is The Invisible Spirit

John 4:24 NKJV
24 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”
Amen.
John 1:18 NKJV
18 No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.
1 John 1:5 NKJV
5 This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.
1 John 1:5 NKJV
{While the light metaphor here indicates God’s righteous nature, it is consistent with His immaterial, spiritual being. dw}
These passages indicate that the Theophanies of scripture are appearances of God in physical form to reveal His awesome majestic nature to man who has only sense perception.
