Now that we have talked about our mending our relationship with God one way that we can continue to mend this relationship is by the way that we look at scripture
Going back to Acts 9 with Saul
He would have had to majorly change the way that we saw the Bible with Jesus being the messiah
It is not a matter of if Paul new the Bible
He probably would have seen that the messiah was supposed to save them from Rome
People today misrepresent scripture and misunderstand it because they have not mended the way that they think about scripture
The majority of this comes from people not paying attention to context. But we all know that context is important

So with this I want to hopefully help you understand some of the context of the Bible so we can understand it correctly

Wasn’t just a one time thing to decide
It took them many years and it was actually solidified in about 400 AD

How is the Bible Different?

over 5,800 manuscripts
There are variants but this actually proves the validity of the Bible
99% of the variants don’t even impact the meaning
Scholars say that the Bible is 99.5% accurate
Over 300 prophecies were fulfilled
The Book of Mormon
Wrote by one guy
he wrote it lost it and wrote it again and it was different
The Quran
It is accurate but there is pretty much one copy and only one person wrote it
They had a cleansing in 650 AD where they made on standard copy and burned the rest
