Luke 2:41 (KJV 1900)
41 Now his parents went to Jerusalem every year at the feast of the passover.
Luke 2:42 (KJV 1900) And when he was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem after the custom of the feast.
In Luke chapter 2, we find the scene where Jesus, as a young boy of twelve, is in Jerusalem with his parents, Mary and Joseph, for the Passover festival.
The family had traveled from their hometown of Nazareth to participate in this important religious event.
After the festival was over, Mary and Joseph, along with a large group of relatives and friends from their community, began their journey back home.
