Psalm 18:30
“As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.”
“tried” - To melt down of all impurities leaving only what is pure.
Psalm 119:140 “Thy word is very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it.”
Psalm 12:6 “The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.”
Psalm 138:2 “I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.”
The TRUTHS of tried rest in God’s Book.
These show us God has made a Book exalted above His own name:
