Psalm 18:30

“As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.”
“tried” - To melt down of all impurities leaving only what is pure.
Psalm 119:140 “Thy word is very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it.”
Psalm 12:6 “The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.”
Psalm 138:2 “I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.”
The TRUTHS of tried rest in God’s Book.
These show us God has made a Book exalted above His own name:

I. The Resulting Of God’s Book. v.7a

7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul:

8 The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart:

IV. The Reasoning Of God’s Book. v.8b

the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.

V. The Renovating Of God’s Book. v.9a

9 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever:

the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.
