D. Martyn Lloyd-Jones said, “If man could have saved himself there would have been no need for the son of God to come on earth. Indeed, His coming is proof that people cannot save themselves.”
We show the law of sin, but God offers the path of Faith in Jesus Christ.

We Show the Law of Sin Through Our Works (Rom. 3:1-20, “We Aren’t Good Enough)

Luther wrote of this passage using a Latin phrase, “Nodus, Deo vindice dignus" a phrase meaning "a knot worthy of God to untie" or "a difficulty worthy of God to resolve"

God Shows Victory Through His Son (Rom. 3:21-26; i.e., 1 Cor. 15:57)

Rom. 3:26, this is how God remains perfectly righteous Himself while he pardons those who believe in Jesus as they stand before Himself as their judge.
This is how God demonstrates His own Righteousness, by His grace through our faith in His propitiation through the sacrifice of His Son as the atonement for our sin.

We Receive Victory Through the Law of Faith (Rom. 3:27-30)

In a civilization like ours, I feel that everyone has to come to terms with the claims of Jesus Christ upon his life, or else be guilty of inattention or of evading the question.
C. S. Lewis

God Shows His Law Through Us (Rom. 3:31)

We write Jesus’ name upon our banner, for it is hell’s terror, heaven’s delight and earth’s hope. Jesus Christ Himself, Volume 23, Sermon #1388 - Ephesians 2:20
Charles Spurgeon
Jesus Christ had a twofold personality: he was the Son of God revealing what God is like and Son of Man revealing what man is to be like.
Oswald Chambers (Lecturer and Missionary)
“All that is required of sinful men and women is that they should embrace by faith what God’s grace has provided.”[1]

The death of Christ, then, is the means by which God does away with his people’s sin—not symbolically, as in the ritual of Leviticus 16 in which the material mercy-seat figured, but really. And really in a twofold sense: the sin has been removed not only from the believer’s conscience, on which it lay as an intolerable burden, but also from the presence of God[1]
