Purpose
Israel is God’s chosen nation to respresent Him among the nation… They have a purpose.
5 Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats:
6 And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening.

The Church is called to a purpose.

Arrogance of Hezekiah
Hezekiah let Babylon in to see the treasures of Isreal
5 Then said Isaiah to Hezekiah, Hear the word of the Lord of hosts:
6 Behold, the days come, that all that is in thine house, and that which thy fathers have laid up in store until this day, shall be carried to Babylon: nothing shall be left, saith the Lord.
7 And of thy sons that shall issue from thee, which thou shalt beget, shall they take away; and they shall be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.

The Arrogance of the Christian
We let the World into the treasure room of our hearts

Why he doesn’t listen and guide?
Judgement = To make a decision concerning something or someone.

Job’s response.
1 Then Job answered the Lord, and said,
2 I know that thou canst do every thing, And that no thought can be withholden from thee.
3 Who is he that hideth counsel Without knowledge? Therefore have I uttered that I understood not; Things too wonderful for me, which I knew not.
4 Hear, I beseech thee, and I will speak: I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.
5 I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: But now mine eye seeth thee.
6 Wherefore I abhor myself, and repent In dust and ashes.

The same ones the god of this world has tried to blind… God has power to set free.
Wait = to patiently wait with expectation.
Renew = to make to, has the idea to pass onto… God will pass strength onto us that when we are spent he refreshens us.
To live for Him.

14 Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil: the Lord reward him according to his works:

16 At my first answer no man stood with me, but all men forsook me: I pray God that it may not be laid to their charge.
17 Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.
18 And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
