Translation

2:1: If then there is any exhortation in Christ, if there is comfort in love, if there is a common spirit, if there is deep love and compassion,

2:2: complete my joy so that he has wisdom, he has love, united in thinking,

2:3: and not according to selfishness nor because of conceit but leading each other in understanding, holding each other above himself

2:4: not looking out for his own interests but the interests of others.

2:5: Be like this in your thinking and in Christ Jesus,

2:6: who in the form of God reigned, did not find equality with God something to be held onto

2:7: but emptied himself, taking on the form of a slave, becoming in the image of man; and he was found in the form of man

2:8: humbling himself by becoming obedient to death, even death on a cross.

2:9: And God exalted him and gave him the name that is above every name,

2:10: so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow in heaven and on earth and under the earth

2:11: and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.
