Know Your Mission Field

Serve where you are.
Acts 1:8 “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.””
The majority of Christians will live and serve in the same area for all of their lives. Then there are some that the Lord calls to pack up and go to specific places. Whether you serve in the same place, or the Lord leads you elsewhere, He wants You to be faithful and serve where you are. If you aren’t faithful to serve where you are, is it likely the Lord will call you to serve Him somewhere else?
Luke 16:10 ““One who is faithful in a very little is also faithful in much, and one who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much.”
God has given each one of His children talents and gifts to strengthen the body of Christ. He desires for us to use them.
See Romans 12:4-8...

Keep First Things First

Keep the Gospel central.
Mark 1:15 “and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.””
See Matthew 28:18-20...
There are many good things that Christians are called to do. But no matter what good work we are doing, the Gospel must remain central to it.
Romans 1:16 “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.” (See Romans 10:13-17)
1 Corinthians 2:1–2 “And I, when I came to you, brothers, did not come proclaiming to you the testimony of God with lofty speech or wisdom. For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.”
Let us believe and speak the truth!
2 Corinthians 4:13 “Since we have the same spirit of faith according to what has been written, “I believed, and so I spoke,” we also believe, and so we also speak,”
Acts 4:20 “for we cannot but speak of what we have seen and heard.””

Practice What You Preach

Let your life give evidence of the Gospel.
See John 13:34-35...
Matthew 5:16 “In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”
See Romans 2:17-24...
See Titus 2:7-8...
