Best Gift Ever

Hey everyone

welcome to the Best Summer Ever

Let me hear you make some noise

if you got excited when you saw the firetruck!

What about the police cars?

What about the motorcycles?

?

all of those vehicles

the police cars and trucks

the firetruck

the sports cars

motorcycles

every vehicle out there

was brought here for you

i want you guys to know

all of this is for you

a lot of people have worked hard

have taken their time to bring in vehicles

people have spent hours

planning and getting stuff together

we have some pretty awesome things planned for you this summer

people have sacrificed time and money

to put all of this together

so that you can have the best summer ever

because you are important

i want you guys to know that

you guys are loved

and each and every one of you

is valuable

God sees you

He knows you and He loves each and every one of you

so as we go throughout this week

i want you to remember

that all of this is for you

because you matter

you know we as a church

come together

and we put on the best summer ever

because we love you guys

and we want to give you guys

the best summer ever

there is no cost to you

but i want you to know

there is an even greater love than that

We give you “the Best summer ever”

because we love you

But God loves you so much

that He gave you an even better gift

He gave you Himself

God created you

He knows your name

He calls you His child

and He made a way for you to live an amazing life- full of love, joy, and purpose

so today is our first chapel service

and i want to talk to you

about God the Father

because before anything existed

God had a plan

for his creation

and you and i are apart of that creation

James 1:17 “Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow.”

God the Father

is the author of every Good and perfect gift

that means every good thing in your life

family friends

the food you eat

even the fun you have

is a gift from God the Father

we can think of God

kinda like the author of the greatest story ever

and you are the main character

And as the author

God is continutally bringing good into your life

so the next time you get slice of pizza

or a hug from your mom

or you get to laugh with your friends

remember

That is a gift from God

God the Father

is the giver of all good gifts

so as we wrap up today

i want you to remember something really important

The firetrucks were cool

The police cars were awesome

motorcycles are fast

sports cars are shiny

But none of that compares to what God wants to do in your life if you let HIm

God the Father

makes all things possible

when you come to Him

He is the one who made You

He knows your name

He calls you His child

And everything good that happens in your life

comes from Him
