The Creeds

I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.

we believe in One Being. God The Father is the Creator of heaven and earth as the Scriptures say!

The Bible tells us that God can be described as a Father, and God the Father

is the first revealed person of the Trinity. God has a fatherly care and concern

for us. For many, there is great power and healing in understanding what a

wonderful and loving Father God is. Even if you weren’t as blessed as I was to

have a great father, you know instinctively how a loving father should care for

his children. If you don’t know it by experience, you know by instinct what a

great father should be. That is how God is towards you and how He cares for

you.

“Father” describes God, but it doesn’t completely describe Him. He is more

than a Father. He is the “Father Almighty.” God has all power and ability.

Nothing can stop His determined will. I like the literal meaning of the word

translated “Almighty” in the New Testament: “The One who has His hand

He is caring

He is Sovereign

He is Creator of ALL

I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,

He is The Only Begotten Son of God, Begotten, not created! He has always been and always will be will be!

He is equal in Divinity with God The Father and God The Holy Spirit who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary.

He was miraculously conceived by The Holy Spirit! He had no earthly father for He had no Father but God The Father!

Jesus was Fully God and fully man at the same time! He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried;

by claiming that Jesus suffered at the hands of Pilate, we are claiming that what the Bible says is true and accurate! it has been proven that a Man named Jesus Christ was crucified by Pontius Pilate! by claiming this we are saying we believe in the validity of The Bible!

By saying He was crucified, we realize that He went through a torturous death for our sins; He was and is The Sacrifice for our sins! he descended to hell. The third day he rose again from the dead.

By saying that He rose again from the dead, we are acknowledging that Christ is no longer dead, but a living person! I serve a risen Savior He’s in the world today! The grave could not hold Him and we must stand strong against heresy trying to say that there is no resurrection! He ascended to heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty. From there he will come to judge the living and the dead.

He is seated in POWER! He is the Judge Who Judges all things righteously without favoritism!

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic* church,

The holy Catholic Church is the whole community of Christians as a whole, not the Roman Catholicism of today!

The Church is to be unified, a global church and The Holy Spirit is The One Who gives us life in the church! we need The Holy Spirit to come and help us be the church He wants us to be! the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
