Ephesians 2:1–7

I. Our State by Nature (vv. 1–3).

A. We were dead:

1. In trespasses.

2. In sins.

B. We were separated by:

1. The world.

2. The devil.

3. The flesh.

II. Our Standing by Grace (vv. 4–7).

A. God’s intervention (v. 4).

1. His mercy.

2. His love.

B. God’s implementation (vv. 5, 6).

1. We are “quickened.”

2. We are “raised.”

3. We are seated “together.”

C. God’s investment (v. 7).

1. To show us the riches of His grace.
