Verse 4 what does it mean that Jesus bore our sickness?

He took our sin upon himself

2 Corinthians 5:21 says he became sin for us, What does it mean that he became sin?

he became the sacrifice for our sin

How is it possible that the death of one man covered the many sins of the entire church?

Because Jesus was greater and more significant than the whole church combined, spotless, without blemish.

What sticks out about verse 10?

God was pleased to Crush Jesus, God crushed Jesus.

What was the punishment for our sin?

The wrath of God

What suffering does Jesus endure on the Cross?

Not just physical pain but the Wrath of God

How does understanding our sin show Jesus’s love for us in light of the cross?

Shows how great a punishment Jesus bore

Why does Jesus have to be the one to atone for our sins?

Because he is perfect and above all

What is the whole purpose of Jesus’s Death and resurrection?

To Justify us before God

How does the Resurrection serve to Justify us before God?

The cross dealt with the punishment for our sin, the resurrection granted us righteousness.

Why is this important to the Gospel?

This how we can be saved

What would happen if Jesus died on the Cross but never rose?

We couldn’t be saved, Jesus wouldn’t be messiah or God, the atonement would be incomplete.

Why is the Cross and Resurrection significant for us in our lifetime on earth?

Because of this, Sin and Death has no reign over us, it has all been defeated.

How Does the Cross and Resurrection push us to love God more?

Because it is the Greatest example of Gods love for us, as well as his Glory.
