FRESH OIL

Psalm 92:10 NKJV
But my horn You have exalted like a wild ox; I have been anointed with fresh oil.

Main Idea: There is fresh oil that come only from God.

Key Question: Do you need a fresh work of God in your life?

1. Fresh oil sanctifies you.

1 Samuel 16:13 NKJV
Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brothers; and the Spirit of the Lord came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel arose and went to Ramah.
Elisha is anointed in 1 Kings 19:16 to be prophet
Leviticus 8:12 NKJV
And he poured some of the anointing oil on Aaron’s head and anointed him, to consecrate him.

2. Fresh oil symbolizes favor in your life.

3. Fresh oil soothes you.

Luke 10:34 NKJV
So he went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine; and he set him on his own animal, brought him to an inn, and took care of him.
Modern science confirms that olive oil has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, and ancient cultures used it for skin ailments.
James 5:14–15 NKJV
Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.

4. Fresh oil shines through you.

Exodus 27:20–21 NKJV
“And you shall command the children of Israel that they bring you pure oil of pressed olives for the light, to cause the lamp to burn continually. In the tabernacle of meeting, outside the veil which is before the Testimony, Aaron and his sons shall tend it from evening until morning before the Lord.
