Well, today for our message, we are going to be in Exodus chapter 25. So I invite you to turn there and your copy of God's word. I said, Exodus up to this point and if you've been following along with us and have been coming, you've known that. We have followed the people of Israel from the time when they were slaves in the land of Egypt, all the way through the Lord, raising up, Moses, and then you having Moses, to lead the people out of Egypt. But now, as we get to this part of the book, there's a pretty drastic change that takes place in terms of the focus of the book. The people have been delivered and the god of Hoops in the process of giving them his law. He's giving them his instructions, not just for life. But now, beginning in chapter 25 and actually all the way through the end of the book, the focus of the book of Exodus is going to be on the Tabernacle This Earthly place of worship, where God will dwell among his people in chapters 25 through 31, we're going to see the Lord, give detailed instructions on the different elements that are going to go into the Tabernacle on how to tackle at Tabernacle, is going to be built. And then, in the last 5, chapter 6 chapters, we're going to see them. Out that plan and build the Tabernacle. So that God's glory might dwell. There among them, this passage begins today in chapter 25 with instructions for the people as well as an invitation for them to join him in the work. So I'm going to read chapter 25 of Exodus beginning. The worst one in reading through verse 9, here is the word of the Lord Lord said to Moses, speak to the people of Israel that they make today, they take for me, a contribution from every man, whose heart lose him. You shall receive the contribution for me and this is the contribution that you shall receive from them, gold silver, and bronze, blue, and purple, and Scarlet, Yarns and fine twine. Lennon, goats hair, hand, Ram, skins, ghost, skins. Acacia wood oil for the lamps spices for the anointing oil. And for The Fragrant incense Onyx, stones and stones for setting for the ephod. And for the breast piece, And let them make me a sanctuary that I may dwell in their midst. Exactly. As I show you concerning the pattern of the Tabernacle and of all its furniture. So you shall make it by the way. Again, come to you and we pause in this moment as we enter this time in, your were asking that you would give Clarity to our hearts and Minds as to what you were saying and workout by your spirit. Would you move within our hearts that we might respond by faith and obedience to you and all that you were calling us to be and do as your people? We ask this in the name of Jesus, Amen.

What are the great joys of my childhood with those times where where my dad would say, hey Chris you want to help me with something and I would say sure Dad had to rush out and it with all the exuberance that at a seven or eight-year-old could muster. I would go out and I would Emma, try to help my dad and what he was doing. Well, there was this one time and I was probably seven or eight years old. When when we had bought a new house in there was an old shed in the backyard is so my dad just like, we need to take this shutdown, we're going to build another shed with place or whatever. And so we were there that day and we were a deconstructing, the shed it was there when we purchased the house and my uncles and my dad and then all the word taking group, off, or everything. And then, I honestly can't remember whether he asked me to do this or not, but I took it upon myself to push down one of the walls. It was probably like a really tight. He walked in my seven or eight-year-old Mike. I pushed with everything that I had in that wall, came tumbling down, I felt so proud as I looked at that wall laying there, helpless, and defeated on our yard. Again, I don't remember whether or not I was asked to do that, but I do know that my dad asked me to help dinner leave at the project and that I contributed at least some way and that was very very helpful and I really appreciated the opportunity, my dad gave us today. We're going to see God, begin to put into action, his plan for the construction of a place where he is Israel's Divine key would dwell among his Covenant, people, rather than just giving them all the materials and lay them out before them or even rather than just speaking the tabernacle into existence which God certainly could have done invites his people to be a part of this process, he invites them to contribute, the materials that'll be necessary for the building of the Tabernacle in. The also says that they are going to be the Once to construct this tabernacle church today, but we're going to see, is that God calls us to sacrifice and obedience. As We join him in fulfilling, his Plan of Redemption, you see, God is at work in the world. Do something far greater than the building of a temporary place of worship. Is he, God is at work in this world today. I'm on you and me and through you. And I as his people bringing about a plan by which he is drawing people to himself and saving people calls us to participate in this were and then we as his people have the joy of joining him in this labor it through this invitation, it is so often we were here. This invitation is as Christians that God wants us to be a part of of of helping and and being a part of the clearing, the gospel and seeing people come to fade. As so often we find it, we can we talk at the opportunity to join God in this Kingdom work. Sometimes we say, you know what, I really want to be involved in something that God is doing but you know what? That's just going to that's going to take too much time. Or you know what? I see that great thing that God is doing out there. But me and I can afford to give any money or to give that much money to to what it is that that he is doing. If we're honest, if we really examine our her, I would say that very often. We don't always have God's Kingdom Purpose in mind as we live our lives and utilize the resources. He has so graciously given us even when we do help pretend to like to do things, our own way, we see the bag of letters that represent our lives and we say, you know what, I've got a how this life is going to come together. I have a plan for how I want to see things done and we put aside with the Lord with desire and what his plan is for us and for his church But despite our reluctance and often our stubbornness. Still calls us to take part in fulfilling, his Plan of Redemption to the world. And this is what we see taking place as he speaks to the tomatoes. This and it begins here to give his instructions for the people of Israel. About the construction of the Tabernacle. This was God Reveals His plan to see first of all their part in the plan would require sacrifice. Informed us. We learned that we give sacrificially from God's provision. We give sacrificially from God's provision as part of our participation in his purpose, the passage opens here in 10 first one with the Lord. Speaking to Moses, you would call at the end of chapter 24, in chapter 3, for the wounded, call people up to the mountain, that they might worship before him. And then, in the end of chapter 24, he called Moses himself up further into the mountain where he would give him further instructions and that's what's taking place here. In the Lord said to Moses, First one, speak to the people of Israel that they take for me a contribution, the contribution of the people would provide the materials that were necessary for the construction of the Tabernacle. Again. Didn't just say, hey, I'm going to, we're going to make this building, we're going to make this Tabernacle in a, everything you need to do it. No, he asked the people to make the contribution and we see, first of all, if we look at this will see what the nature of this contribution is to be in the fact that it is to be a willing contribution. This was to be a free-will offering because he says from every man, whose heart moves him you shall receive the contribution for me. In other words got said, I'm going to put it into the hearts of these people and they are going to willingly. Give me the world, we get that, which is necessary for the construction of the Tabernacle. And this idea of a free will and willing and joyful giving you something that is not just visit here. In Exodus chapter 25, verse is a principle of giving among God's people, that is celebrated in encourage all throughout the scriptures. As a matter of fact, in the book of 2nd Corinthians in the New Testament in chapter 8 and 9, probably give it an extended invitation for the Corinthian Church to give towards the relief effort for the people in Judea who are suffering under a famine and he goes. And he says that we are to give cheerfully Paul. What passage is the each one. Each person must give, as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion for God, loves a cheerful, Giver a cheerful Giver, a question to ask ourselves. If we considered, as we give time in our talents in Ark and our Treasures to the lure, Are we doing so. And then are we doing so willingly? Joyfully cheerfully we see that that is the expectation for the Lord says they are going to accept as they move in their heart and they will make the contribution for the Tabernacle It will not only to give willingly were also to give sacrificially. Would you just look at the things that are mentioned in listed there and verses 3 through 7? And I want us we do I want us to think about the fact that just a couple short months ago, months ago we had our nation of Israel was enslaved in Egypt, they had one well they're very little in terms of possessions as they were in their slavery. But we see here, the Lord is saying to them, he wants to receive from them, these things, gold and silver, and bronze. If it went down to the bar was working on in the order of like, just actual steer value, he talks about Onyx stones, and, and stones for setting that would be used in the Priestly garments. I'm going to go down and he's listing. Various other elements in 10, NM immaterial, she says, blue and purple, and Scarlet. Yours. Any sort of colored thread like this would have been something that would have been of value. Not only financially, but also remember the weather like in their clothes from the decorating, the house with the whatever they would do with. It was a necessary thing and then we see also hear a goat's hair and tail and ran scans and goatskin. All of these would have been things that would have stayed evade their tents with in their dwellings that they would have lived in. The guys asking them to give up the most valued possessions they have in order to construct this place of worship where he will dwell among them. But as we look at the costly items in this list, remembering that this is a nation of slaves but it just delivered again a few short months ago. Like they've been set free and they now been living in some great metropolitan area where they could do it and make it kind of money and all of a sudden have these resources there, still a nomadic people. But if you recall when they left Egypt, the Lord had already provided for them all that he was now asking them to contribute. Exodus chapter 12 verses 35 and 36 since the people of Israel also had done as Moses told them but they had asked the Egyptians for silver and gold, and jewelry, and for clothing, and awards are given the people favor in the sight of the Egyptian so that they let them have what they asked. The they plundered the Egyptians. You recall this in chapter 3 years, if that's an issue getting those has the plan. He says we're going to ask the people for gold and silver and all these things in the people who just going to give them to them, whether he commands them again to do this. And now in chapter 12 is the people are leaving the group. Let out of Egypt after the Passover, the people do what the Lord said. And it says that they asked the Egyptians for gold and silver and all these other things in the people said, here you go. All the way you can stay. Like we should have learned over the 400 years of slavery. Here you go. Out of the Free Will of the heart. The Lord had moved in the heart of the Egyptians so that they didn't really good. Is the people of Israel asked. And we see in this, I think I don't receive these things, but this is a way of plundering the nation of Egypt. It was a judgment upon the Egyptians as much as it was a blessing upon the people of Israel. The point of what we see here is it, as God is asking the people to give buffet was the gold and silver in the bronze. And, and all of these things that are listed here, guys, also it in the back of the line that got to be thinking, but we'll got already provided all of these things for us. The Lord has provided and now he's asking them to make a free-will contribution. Give me the same thing is true for us is nothing that God asks us to give that. He has not already provided for us, if you have life and breath and time and you were day in the Lord is, asking you to give her some of that time to get the matter of priority, not a matter of whether or not you have the time available very often. As the Lord calls upon us to speak it financially to the photos of his kingdom in the in the world that he is doing through his church. And that is not something that we can say. You know what, I just don't have any they do, the Lord is already provided everything that we give comes from something. The Lord has already given to fulfill his purpose of normalcy likewise is calling, was to give sacrificially from the resources that he is already provided. And we, as stewards of God, reschedule resources are called to give freely and sacrificially and as we do, so we do. So from the heart that recognizes all that we have already received from the lore and I've got just talking to her about the paychecks that we get, where the house is in which we live for the time that he is given to us. I'm talking about the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. Because also 2nd Corinthians chapter 8. Paul says, that's for, you know, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ that though he was rich, yet for your sake, he became poor so that you buy his poverty, might become rich. The Lord Jesus at and throne, and all the glory of Heaven. Late, all about a side became obedient to the point of death on the cross. So that we have eternal life. That back and that fact alone should lead us to always ask without even the Lord, say anything, we should be asking what what can I give to you in return? Nothing. We could ever repay him but simply saying on everything that I have from the life and brought the resources, Steven my salvation come from your hand, how they might I serve you with all that you have given me. It's over. The Lord calls us to give we do. So, as those who have received freely from him, we also seek then to give freely in return. And, as we do, we do. So with the promise that as tall as Ian says, the 2nd Corinthians chapter 8, but God is able to make all grace abound to us not just talkin about salvation but also material provision so that having all sufficiently in all things at all times when they abound in every good work, in other words as God calls you give and you can watch God provide, Beautiful prom. So let us spend it freely as the Lord leads responding to the grace that we have already received and trusting in the one who has and always will continue to provide for us. This is a lord there, at the beginning of our passage, cause the people to give toward fulfilling his plan, but their part would also involve participation in the construction of the Tabernacle in from this, we learned that we not only give sacrificial, but we also serve willingly to fulfill God's purpose, but they're verse 4, Arbor State. Scuse me and let them make me a sanctuary that I may dwell in their midst. So, we seeing that verse received the call of the people, to, to be a part of this construction project. Let them make me a sanctuary, but we also see something of the purpose of which God was working out in the, in the project that he was going to dwell in their midst. So again, God is inviting the people to make this Sanctuary with all the resources that he had already provided that they were giving they were going to construct this Tabernacle. They were going to be the ones to do the labor before this. The Lord will used provides skilled craftsmen who he gifted with the ability to do the work and to build the Tabernacle in the fast forward this to chapter 31 because their losses. Serve the Lord tells Moses about two men who are already provided for the people from the nation. No names are. There's a quiz later, to remember these oholiab, and bezalel a holy album. Does allow remember that? Not not really. You can forget that threat, but you do need to remember, is what God said about them. He said, I have filled them with the spirit of God with a bility and intelligence with knowledge and all craftsmanship. And I are given to all able man ability. If they know they all that I have commanded you see God gifting people in order to accomplish the task to which he was calling you. Again this might have been training with a receive while they were in the land of Egypt. I don't think there's necessarily woke up one day and said hey I know how to build the Tabernacle wonder what I should do with this wonderful. Get it. But what they saw us with these gifts and abilities that the lord gave them his opportunity to use. Those gifts came along, they were able to see how the Lord had already provided for them what they needed to accomplish the task. He has another beautiful thing that thing passes goes on, it said that God also gave them the ability to teach so that others would be able to serve as well. This was a gift that they were going to take and use and be two people working all by themselves to build everything fits about the Tabernacle. They were going to be others alone with them. If you help them to understand how they too, could be a part of this world by showing them how the work is done in both, that is a picture for us at the ministry of the local church. The God has put forth in our midst. Those people you who are gifted to do certain things, and you contribute to the ministry of our church, in particular ways. So that collectively the job gets done, the job of all the Lord has called us to do in to be as his people here in Park City is to be done, not just fine. The guy that gets paid by a couple people who are amazingly gifted in some, may be exceptional or different ways. But all of us have a part to play in the Fulfillment of this and it's our job as a church as leaders in the church to say, you know what, I see that you might have a gift to do XYZ, let me come alongside you and it encouraged you to do that can help you in doing that. It's okay. If a pastor myself with some of their leader comes to it. So you know what have you ever considered serving in this role or that role will probably not doing so randomly? I know, I don't, if I'm if I was just don't listen to people that say you know what, they probably did with kids, they are deserving children, shirts, just probably something I've seen that indicates to me, that you would be good to serve in that capacity and I'll say, hey, would you at least be willing to give it a try? Will give you the tools and resources that you need? Would you be willing to give up your time and abilities to serve our church in the children? The families of our church in this meeting for way and I did not use that example. Just out of the blue that's in need that we have. But what we see here is that God gives the gift in the ability to do these tasks to the people that he has called to do them. But even as God is doing this, we see a greater purpose at work here. God's purpose was to dwell among his people and this is represented in the physical structure of the Tabernacle would be the sanctuary, the holy place where God would dwell, It's A Dog's Purpose even phone long before Moses long before Israel and Egypt, his purpose for the four creation was to dwell among people. If you would take all the way back to Genesis chapter 2 and 3, God is fair created. Adam, and Eve, and he is says that he walked with them in the garden. There was some sort of connection with the people that don't matter to me. We have with velour and interpersonal relationship with. It was nothing separating that until they send and let's end this relationship with God in the midst of history, that we have recorded for us in the scripture in, even as you and I live and breathe today. The rest of history is that working out his Plan of Redemption to bring Sinners to himself through his son, Jesus Christ. And we see that they brought to reality and park here. by his choosing, the people of Israel and dwelling among them in a place like the Tabernacle we see this perfectly expressed in Jesus, as he was God with us Emmanuel, if he lived and breathed and lived among the people of Israel 2000 years ago, Even now, as we are. His people who only goes with that stick in our students. Holy Spirit in the promise that the great hope of our Salvation is that in, eternity, we will be in God's presence and we will hear him say the words of the recorded in Revelation 21:4. John rice, I saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of Heaven, from God, prepared. As a bride, a bride adorned for her husband and I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, Behold The Dwelling Place of God is with, man, he will dwell with them and they will be his people and God himself will be with them as their God. Books. That's not just a happy ending to an otherwise. Sad story of lie. That is God's intention. God saving purpose brought about in time and space and being fulfilled in eternity. And those who will be with him. There on that base. A movie says, I will be there. And they will be my people. I would love with them and they will dwell with me. He's speaking about would have their sins forgiven through faith in Jesus Christ, as we talked about off, and that is the only me that God has given us to Salvation. And that is the only way that we will enjoy this. Glorious gift of dwelling in the presence of God forever. So you see, God is now invited us to join him in this work before filling his Kingdom Purpose here in this world by bringing Redemption to the world through Jesus. Chica has provided for us the Savior and he's made the way of Salvation in our part is to respond to that, and I believe we do so in one of two ways, the first way to respond to that is I call Lulu. A Salvation is here as the Lord opens our eyes to the reality of our sin, as he opened our eyes, to the reality of the Salvation that he was offering us in Christ. We going to confess our sins to him and he repented it returned from that Cinema place. Our faith established in Jesus Christ, in the death of Hugh died for us on the cross, in the resurrection. These are our only hope for salvation that is our first response. But then secondly, the way we respond to God's purpose in the world is to answer the call to join God in his kingdom work. May I remind us this is not something that is simply out there for the few in the crowd, right? This isn't that the Marines of of Christianity When we come to Faith in Jesus Christ, we are commissioned to serve the Lord and his church and the voices to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the Nations. Is there as we live our lives in Christ, we are called to be a part of this process and very practical for us. That means that has received and needs around us and we sense the Lord leading the search for to give ourselves to him in some way. If we can answer that call with the full assurance that we're walking in obedience, but also as we remember from earlier, but the Lord will provide only has provided for you. The skills and the ability to perform the task. Anytime. With his holy spirit to an 80s, to do the work to which he has called us in an all of this, we can serve him willingly or he will use us as part of his stated purpose in the world. It was weak Joy, God, and his work at his invitation, we see that we are called to to give sacrificially but also tooth to serve him willingly. But when we do, so we don't just show up and say, Lord here I am and here's what I'm going to do. The way that I think it should be done. Let me see in the spinal version verse 9. We see that this first shows us that doing our part in. God's plan means that we work obediently according to the Lord's plan. If you don't show up and tell Dad that we are going to do, we shall probably say, Lord here. Am I send me? Here are the lyrics to the resource that you were giving me. How would you have me to use them? Samantha portable take place as Moses on Mount Sinai from this point forward. Like I said, all the way to chapter 31, God is giving detailed instructions for what is to be made is to be a part of the Tabernacle and how it is to be constructed. He goes to pretty intricate details as to how all of these things are to come together. So when we see him stay and verse 9, exactly, as I show you concerning the pattern of the Tabernacle and all of its furniture. So you shall make it as we see him. Say those words again, God's not going to just set them free to go to work and say, whatever you think the Tabernacle should look like, go do that. I know he is giving noses. A view into the throne room of heaven and he's seeing something of the reality of having it is going to be represented by and said that the physical Tabernacle that the people are going to build everything that they are going to build is going to follow the patterns that Moses to seeing their that heavenly vision that the Lord is showing him. It just as with any other construction project, there's a blueprint or a pattern after which which the structure is built. Put the kids arm and it was as letters who did show up in the bag of Legos, put them together in some way, we expect a fire truck to come out. In the same way, my brother with his salt would enter into a construction project without a plan. What it, what is it that you're looking to accomplish? How do we need to go about putting these pieces together in such a way that it compasses, the ultimate purpose for which were working The same is true for Moses every instructions but the lord gave was first received by Moses. The plan for the Tabernacle is based on the pattern of the Heavenly reality with noses with his eyes was seeing the Lord was revealing to him. We will consider again, these instructions of the week to come. But for now I want us to be encouraged by this fact, it is we consider God's plan for the advancement of his kingdom here on Earth. He has given us clear instructions, given us the blueprint for how we're to go about doing Kingdom work. As we read the New Testament, if you read me, the New Testament, basically, with eyes that are saying or how would you have me? Go about being a disciple and making disciples for you. Among the nation's when you're going to see is an overwhelming pattern, that emerges, where God's people are speaking God's word and pray for the spirit to work in Harts. Run out there, put it this way. He said a Christian group, truth from God's word to. Someone else told him that God would make that word their fruit for the n-word working of the spirit. I go back to Romans chapter 10 and I think of this is Taylor. Paul says, how will they believe if they have not heard, how will they hear? If we do not preach? How will we preach? Unless we are sent the first? All of us have been sent because we are commissioned in the Lord, be praised. The Lord's people to go out in the take this Gospel, wherever he may send us. It's organic. We are the ones who hold this, the message of the gospel and we're tight-lipped when it comes to sharing that. How in the world do we expect anyone to hear what is the Lord is doing against the radius? Like, we're trying to to build the kingdom, by not going, according to the Lord's plan. But we need to be so so committed to what we see that are doing and the method that he has given to us. God's people speaking, God's word and asking for God's spirit to work in people's hearts to accomplish his purpose. The constant here is God's word being spoken by God's people and that we would do. So in prayer, for dependents, on the spirit, to produce the fruit that God was Irish to produce. The main thing that buries in this equation is the specific word that is spoken in the person to whom we are speaking. Now if I'm speaking to a fellow Christian if if you and I are having a conversation My goal is to speak the word of God into your life, is such a way that fits you, that helps you to grow in your walk with him. That helps, you understand the scriptures better. That's pretty Croods you to maybe put out the stand where to put on the vistas deed of righteousness. But my goal is to speak out words so that so that you was going to do every Sunday. I don't just get up here and talk cuz you paid me too. I got other things I could be doing. I get a sheriff in God's word, prayerfully all throughout the week so that as you here at the Lord, may do a work in you and within us collectively, but we will be all made Lori with an image of Jesus. That's how we are to relate to one another is fellow Christian speaking. The word of God into each other's lives and pray that the Lord would bear the fruit that he desires to see born. Consider another scenario where we speak the word of the Gospel, only speak biblical truth to those who do not get no price. The goal is to help him to see the beauty of what Christ has done to see the order of their sin to see the glory of the Gospel. Is it leaving for faith in Christ? So that they too might be saved. The common denominator here is us as God's people speaking, God's word? This is our call. This is our God given Commission. It's always, we consider all that. We heard their passage today with the request that the Lord made to join him and fulfilling his Kingdom Purpose in the building of the Tabernacle. It's just weird on. We're going fast forward. I don't know how can encourage you to read ahead. We're going to read ahead here in chapter 36. I'll put it on the screen for, so we're going to see what happens. Seems a long way away, but lot of instructions are given Israel. That's something really, really bad and then the Lord makes it right. Finish after 36 years of what we see of the people and they receive from Moses, all the contribution they being, they're the people who are doing the construction, they received the Moses, all the contribution that the people of Israel had brought for doing the work of on the sanctuary. They still kept bringing him Freewill offerings every morning. So that all the Craftsman who are doing every sort of test on the sanctuary, okay? It's from the tasks that he was doing and said to Moses, the people bring much more than enough for doing the work that the Lord has commanded us to do. Tomorrow's escape the command in the world was proclaimed throughout all the camp. Let no, man, or no woman, do anything more for the contribution for the sanctuary and I watched this so the people will restrain you from bringing for the material. They had was sufficient to do all the work and more. but I tell you what, I'm looking forward to the day where I could say, you know what, we've got enough people, we got enough money. The work of the Lord is being done here at Park City, Baptist Church, I'm going to restrain you from getting anymore. We are very generous congregation and for this, I am grateful far more than I am, sitting back wondering where it's going to come from. I'll say that. But imagine the scenario again for the task list goes out, and all the needs are met. The following request goes out and every need is met and we can say that the Lord's work is being done here Among Us and I could say good folks were good. We got everything we need for the time being

as I conclude here, I want to encourage us with another picture that I'm going to put on the screen. And I believe this picture represents in some small way everything that we have discussed today and I'll give it to you as an encouragement. You see the picture here, you may not be able to tell you probably will figure it out but that's the a stack of Bibles or three boxes. Another box is probably already been unpacked, full of Portuguese Bible. You see these are the Bibles that are missing. Partners Ethan your night Rigdon who serve in Brazil they raided a recently purchase these to assist them in their Ministry there in Brazil. We purchase these Bibles with the money that we were able to donate to their Ministry from our fundraiser during vacation bible school. This may not seem like much when Ethan texted me earlier this weekend and I just love how the Lord works this stuff out. This is all God working. I just get to be here in 10 to tell you what's going on. Protectively this picture earlier in the week and was just Rejoice. Sing with me. We got the Bible's that we ordered. Thank you guys so much. So thank you all. It again, while it might not seem like much.

I was thinking this week about all the took place to make this happen. It again it's an illustration in and out working him in some small way of what we've seen in our passage today. Is he back in February March, April? The call went out for people to serve at Vacation Bible School. It takes a small army of people, the host in to properly, run a vacation, bible school program. The movie of you said count me in on there for it with your time to serve at the acacian Bible school. And what did I do? That open the opportunity for children to come here to this place to hear the gospel over the course of a week as well as to as a part of what we do participate in this offering. and then as a result, many people gave sacrificially, So that we could collect this offering again, when you think about it was we we collected a little over $700 which is phenomenal for a vacation bible school offering right now I'm sure there were some parents. That hell wasn't like we were breaking the bank but there was still a willingness to say, you know what, I'm going to contribute toward that. I'm going to help to see that, the three, that would look into me with buying these Bibles, for the Brazilian church. The fish need might be mad. So people serve people gay and all of us to support a couple who have sacrificially in willingly, giving up themselves, for the sake of preaching, the gospel in another country among the indigenous tribes of Brazil. And now, because all of these things work together, we were willing, we were sacrificial. Can we join with the ministry that they were doing? Now, the gospel continues to go forward with even greater faithfulness to the sacrifice, and Obedience of God's people and little old Park City. Montana. Praise God, how he works all of these things out. We don't have to make all the payments. We don't have to serve in all the roles but what is the Lord asking of you and what is he asking about? To the question before us here is, are you giving joyfully and generously? Hello, Jesus challenges. That's what he says, where your treasure is. There will your heart be also. Tell me what the way that we spend our money, reflects the priorities in the love of our heart. Where's the Lord in his kingdom fit into that their finances in our time and other resources? How are we spending those things in a way that's joyful and generous towards the Lord? Are you asking the Lord? How he would have you to give it a serve? Is that a regular part of your prayer time when you're personally spending time with the Lord or what would you have of me?

Again, I know my name, I know my general role here has called me to do the pastor to Park, City Baptist Church, and that's what requires many things that made over the course of a week. That a part of my face morning is what would you have of me today? Here's all the things I think they were on my to do list.

But I don't sit here, I'm going to pray this prayer with Open Hands. You know that? I feel like I got to put in five or six hours of study today to be ready for Sunday. If that's all you want me to spend my time, May the office be quiet. If there's something else you have for me to do today, make that make you aware that you want me to put away. What I think. I need to do in order to do what it is. You're calling me to. How early are we even asking the Lord? What he would have us. And then lastly are you committed to the pattern of ministry that the lord has laid out for us. I remind you the Lord's pattern is God's word speaking for God's people, speaking his word so that others make here, If you point it toward him either and encouraging other, Christians, or sharing, the gospel, with those who do not yet believe. We should seek to be speakers of the Lord's word Faithfully. It's often as he gives us opportunity. And there are opportunities abounding from day today. Would you trust the Lord to say here? Am I? Send me and use me as you will. And let's commit to seeking the Lord and giving ourselves and our resources to him for the advancement of his kingdom. But a sprain

again, Lord, we are Just so grateful to you for your grace that abounds to us. And even your invitation for us to be able to come in to join you in this Kingdom, labor, just as you invited the Israelites to join you and building that Tabernacle. What did you take? Even our meager attempts in our meagre resources and use them in ways that we can't even begin to express? I pray simply that you would move in our hearts that we would seek to be faithful. We ask all of this is Jesus.
