Simeon was a devout man who walked closely with the Lord and was guided by the Holy Spirit. When the Holy Spirit led him to the Temple courts one day, his life's desire, to see the messiah, would be fulfilled in his encounter with Jesus and his parents. Simeon filled a void in their lives and passed on a blessing and a legacy of faith.
