Positive

Powerful

4 Failures in Following

1. Failure to Communicate

1 Samuel 14:24–30

Its hard to follow correctly when Communication is rash or unclear.

“Sometimes the failure to follow is not rebellion—it’s exhaustion, frustration, or confusion caused by poor communication. Saul’s silence and rashness nearly cost him his son and his army’s confidence.”

2.  Failure to Contribute

Exodus 18:14-17

1 Corinthians 12:14–18

1 Corinthians 12:27

Followers spend more time Contributing than they do Consuming or Complaining

“Great leaders are great because they have great contributing followers.”

3. Failure to Care

Revelation 3:15–17

Mark 4:18–19

Care for culture and concern for worldly things can choke the care for following God out of you.

4. Failure to one's Calling

Romans 1:6

2 Peter 1:9–10

Romans 8:28

1 Peter 2:9

If you aren't really Following Christ, you will never follow correctly in a ministry.

Conclusion

1 Corinthians 11:1

John 10:14

John 10:27
