Application

Trust God's Timing in a World of Injustice When injustice seems to go unchecked—whether in our communities, government, or even personal lives—it is tempting to take matters into our own hands or lose hope. But Psalm 75 reminds us that God sets the appointed time (v. 2). He has not abandoned justice; He is patiently working out His plan. → Application: When you feel discouraged by unfair treatment or evil flourishing, bring those frustrations to the Lord in prayer. Ask Him to give you patience and perspective.
Let Praise Be Your Posture Even When You Don’t Understand The psalm begins and ends with praise (v.1, 9–10), even though justice hasn't fully come yet. Praise isn't just a reaction to victory—it’s a declaration of trust. → Application: Make worship your default response. When you're tempted to complain or despair, choose instead to say, “We praise You, O God. Your Name is near.”
