Bible Passage

Matthew 6:10 CSB
Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Today as we meet as Leaders in God’s church, let’s take a moment to talk about our sacred duty—a duty that calls us to step up and serve with purpose.

First, we need to be led!

This isnt just about us doing our own thing; it’s about allowing God to guide our steps.
When we open our hearts to His direction, He shows us the way in our spiritual walk and in how we serve one another.
We must trust Him to lead us like a shepherd leads His sheep.

Next, we’ve got to follow!

You see, we can’t be effective leaders if we don’t know how to follow Christ first.
It’s all about learning from Him, soaking in His teachings, and walking in His footsteps.
We’ve got to humble ourselves and let Him show us the way.
When we follow Him, we learn to lead with His heart.

Finally, we must lead!

Leading isn’t about our own agendas or what we want; it’s about seeking the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
We’ve got to pray, “Not our will, but Thine be done.”
When we surrender our plans and align ourselves with God’s purpose, we become vessels for His kingdom right here on earth.
So let’s embrace this calling, family.
Let’s be led, let’s follow, and let’s lead with love and humility.
Together, we can carry out this sacred duty, shining His light in our community and making a real difference in the lives around us.
