Purposes of the Lord’s Supper
The Lord’s supper reminds us of our union with Christ and one another.
The word communion comes from a Latin word that means “sharing in common”.
1 Corinthians 10:16 “The cup of blessing that we bless, is it not a participation in the blood of Christ? The bread that we break, is it not a participation in the body of Christ?”

2. The Lord’s supper is a remembrance of Christ’s saving work.

7. In light of all this, let us worship Christ for His once for all sacrifice for our sins.
