Intro

Fan vs Follower

A fan is someone who admires or enjoys something from a distance, while a follower is someone who actively engages and supports, often with a deeper level of commitment

6 Characteristics of Faithful Following from the Life of Peter

1. Convinced of Destiny

Matthew 4:18–20

2. Convinced of Knowledge

Luke 9:18–20

3. Conviction of Cost

Luke 9:22–23

Connecting the Verses:

“Follow Me” is the invitation

"I will make you” is the transformation

“Fishers of men” is the mission

“Take up your cross daily and follow Me” is the cost

4. Convinced in His Word

Matthew 14:28-29

5. Convinced about Failure

John 21:9–17

6. Conviction of Comfort

John 21:15–17

Confession

Lord help me to not just be a fan but to be a faithful follower. I know it will cost me, but I also know it will be worth it.
