Introduction
Paul tells us to be strong in the Lord. This means trusting His power, not our own. The New Testament shows three ways we do this:1. Strength comes from Jesus.2. God’s power works inside us.3. God helps us stand firm against all enemies.

Strength in Jesus
Strength in Jesus
Jesus is the source of our strength.
1 You then, my child, be strengthened by the grace that is in Christ Jesus,
13 I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.
2 Corinthians 12:9–10 – “When I am weak, then I am strong.”
Simple lesson: We can’t do life alone. We need Jesus every day.
Prayer Point: Lord Jesus, I receive Your strength today. Help me to rely on You and not on myself.
God’s Power in Us
God’s Power in Us
God puts His power inside us to help us keep going.
11 being strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy;
10 And after you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself restore, strengthen, confirm, and ground you.
37 But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us.
Simple lesson: God is working inside you right now, even when you don’t see it.
Prayer Point: Father, fill me with Your power in my heart and mind. Help me to keep going and never give up.
Standing Firm Against the Enemy
Standing Firm Against the Enemy
Main idea: God makes us strong so we can hold our ground and not fall.
13 Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.
6 So we can confidently say, “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?”
3 But the Lord is faithful, who will strengthen and guard you from the evil one.
24 Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy,
Simple lesson: Don’t let fear, temptation, or trouble pull you away from God.
Prayer Point: Lord, help me stand firm in my faith. Protect me from the devil’s plans and keep me close to You.
