COVENANT KEYS TO DININE SETTELMENT (PART 2)
1 Peter 5:10
But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.
We have established that divine settlement is not a gift but a covenant arrangement where individuals strike a deal with God for a change.
We have also summarised that Divine settlement is referred to as a state of divine favour and restoration where God intervenes to fulfil his promises, bring resolution to challenges, and also establish a person in a place of peace, rest, and prosperity.
COVENANT KEYS TO ENJOYING DIVINE SETTLEMENT
Be born again and remain so: John 3:3-5, John 14:27. Only in Christ can you enjoy true peace. The journey into a world of settlement begins with salvation. You receive the gift of righteousness via salvation, but you have to nurture it through knowledge, understanding, and obedience to the word of God to produce fruit by discipline, Heb 12:11. Remain in Christ; outside him is trouble and confusion and pain. John 15:2&4, Matt 3:8-10.
Be committed to righteous living: This is a lifestyle that caves to please God always, Isa 32:15-17, John 8:29. pleasing God make God to settle you and when God settle you no one or devil can unsettle you, Romas 8:31, psm 118:6. There must be a crave to please God as a way of life.
CASE STUDY
Joseph: Gen 41:39-44, Joseph was divinely settled with a place of power, glory and rest, because he fear God, Gen 39:2,8-9.
Have a wonderful week full of His blessings in Jesus' name, amen.
