How do you view God?

What does God have to do in order to be God for you? What trait do we try to boil God down to?

Suffering is complex.

There is rarely ever one reason or cause of the suffering you and I experience. As we seek to help others let’s not try to put their experience in a box or simplify too much.

We may never know “why”.

This is hard but a necessary point.

God has no equal or rival.

He asks this question, and there is no answer.

God and the Behemoth.

One of two great creatures.

God and the Leviathan.

The second great monster and animal.

Everything belongs to God—He is Lord of all!

Who has a claim against me that I must pay? Everything under heaven belongs to me.

God can be trusted.

He alone can control what we cannot. He alone can bring wisdom to the situation. He alone can redeem.

Evil, and suffering is limited, but one day will be eliminated.

Why have suffering and evil at all? Why not just get rid of it now? This is the point, we must trust the Creator Lord and His wisdom.

Jesus can redeem ALL things.

Throughout history the worst thing was possibly death itself. Yet, because of His resurrection what was final now is not. The question is never “can He” but “will we trust Him”. This is not a simple nor easy question to answer.
