Proverbs 2 will explain the value of seeking wisdom.

This week we will when we seek God’s wisdom, He not only gives us understanding but also protect our paths, protect us from evil, and lead to a life that will last!

1. The Charge to Pursue Wisdom (vv. 1–4)
• Receive God’s words.
• Treasure His commands.
• Seek and search for wisdom like hidden treasure.
Proverbs 2:1 NKJV
1 My son, if you receive my words, And treasure my commands within you,
Do you accept wisdom like it is a treasure?
Proverbs 2:2 NKJV
2 So that you incline your ear to wisdom, And apply your heart to understanding;
This is what happens when you receive God’s wisdom as a treasure
Proverbs 2:3 NKJV
3 Yes, if you cry out for discernment, And lift up your voice for understanding,
How you should seek God’s wisdom
Proverbs 2:4 NKJV
4 If you seek her as silver, And search for her as for hidden treasures;
How hard you should seek it! What effort am I giving in seeking God’s wisdom?
