Recap Psalm 1 verse of the week
The last verse we read was verse 3 and I asked you guys if anyone in here wanted to bear good fruit from your life and most of you raised your hand to agree with that. Maybe you are unsure of what it means to bear good fruit in your life. Or you dont even know what fruit im talking about.
Read verse 3, A tree planted along a river bank would have a continued source of water which is a vital part in the health and survival of the tree and to its production of fruit.’
The fruit comes naturally to this tree because it is abiding in a life-source. Jesus speaks about this in John 15:5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.”
The fruit that we produce as followers of Jesus is not of the natural but super natrual.
The fruit of a righteous man is from the Spirit.
