You can trust in who God is, a God who desires to save rather than destroy, a God who loves rather than condemning, a God who saves rather than judging.
What God did for you through Christ, He did personally for you, so that you can be reconciled to Him, now and forever.

Christ died for us (Rom. 5:6-8)

We were helpless
++We were ungodly
++We were sinners
Christ not only died for us while we were all 3 of those things, it is because of those things that He died for us.
Of all the things that will surprise us on the resurrection morning, this I believe will surprise us most, how deep God’s love for us was that He was compelled to sacrifice His perfect Son for such imperfect beings.

God saves us (Rom. 5:9-11)

We deserve God’s wrath
++We deserved death
++We deserved abandonment (not reconciliation)
God not only saves us from those things, it is because of those things that He saves us.
He died to pay the penalty that our sins deserved.
William MacDonald

God loves us (Rom. 5:6-11)

God chose the right time (v. 6)
++God chose first (vv. 7-8)
++God chose now over later (v. 9)
++God chose reconciliation over separation (v. 10)
++God chose to speak through us over speaking to us (v. 11)
God chose us as the object of His love rather than the object of His wrath. Satan chooses us as the object of his wrath since he is no longer the object of our love.
What God did for you through Christ, He did personally for you, so that you can be reconciled to Him, now and forever.
Do you believe that God, through Christ, did all of this for you?
Are you willing to/do you trust God’s love fully?
If you do, then you are saved. By this you can know that you ARE saved.
